@leftsenseless I see you lack ability of reading too. I don't hate Prema ( I support him and I appreciate his job!). I just hate these arrogant resellers and people who say crappy propaganda about other non-partner resellers being worse or have worse quality support. These people are responsible for this - NOT PREMA (It makes me quite angry about situation they put Prema right now). Read everything or shut up (You just blame me for something I didn't said, all because you are lazy enough to ignore 50% of text I write)... And you are example of these "BgaTurbooks Killer better people and you are peasant" - it's pathetic.

I'm finding it very difficult to talk with someone who doesn't read whole text and rips two-three sentences for it and blame me for things I didn't mean & said. You are arrogant - nothing else to say.

I am very glad you support @Prema and you are against those that have wronged him. That's extremely awesome. Thank you.

It seems you misunderstand many things or have a point of reference that causes you to have a colored view on some things. Part of the issue may be the harmful effect of a postmodern European cultural influence and part of it may be a tolerance for technology garbage that some of us do not have. We cannot fix those problems and analyzing the basis for them is futile, but you would find a warmer reception by being less defensive and not displaying greater arrogance than what you are projecting on others. For example, you refer to others as being arrogant that respond to your posts and then admonish others to be quiet and not post anything that you do not agree with. It would be better to identify what you do agree with than to be reactive and try to convince us that you alone are taking the right position. That never has worked well for anyone, including me.

If you live in an area where there is no Prema Partner shop to trade with locally, there is nothing we can do to fix that either. There are only a few places in the world where trading with a Prema Partner shop is not possible. I think there is something to be said for avoiding vendors that do not put forth as much effort to make things right as some Prema Partner shops do. Many resellers are losers and do a half-assed job of everything. Not all resellers are horrible. Some are amazing. But, that does not justify the socialization or theft of firmware mods that benefit the losers and cheats among resellers that do not give proper support to their customers or the broken garbage that they sell. Customers that choose to save a few bucks are not automatically entitled to partake of the same benefits and rewards of those that chose wisely and paid extra to receive extra.

Here are two examples of not understanding:
This is by design. That's how it works and how it is intended to work. There is no entitlement and nothing owed to those that are outside of the program. It's a good model. It's not about commercialization. It is about working with some of the best resellers and letting the chips fall where they may with those that do not make the cut. I am very glad this is how things are set up. My contributions are on a volunteer basis to support the good work of Prema and of those vendors, help make their products better than the rest, and support the customers that choose wisely where to spend their money. If there were no opportunity to own a product that is superior to the norm, then there would be no point in having it. Everything good would be normal, like belly buttons and butt holes--everyone has those--and life would be boring for everyone not content with status quo.
Not better people; better products. We are elitists and very proud of it. Every time someone says that, I take it as a compliment and confirmation that I am on the right track. But, our contempt is not for other human beings. Our contempt is for inferior garbage products. Those that are offended by it lack understanding and have lowered their bar on tolerance for crippled filthbooks. Why that gets personalized is a mystery. We should be nice to people as much as possible, but there is no reason to be nice when talking about broken BGA jokebooks. We don't owe any courtesy to products, but we do need to be courteous to people.

I'll point out the larger machines tend to do better as a percentage in Europe/Asia than America like the P570WM situation.

I too am concerned with how toxic the forum has become in certain areas and it concerns me a lot.

It's obvious that English isn't your first language so it is likely that there is a communication barrier here. You are not championing open source, but you might as well be because you expect @Prema to automatically provide his BIOS to all resellers. If thats the direction you think the industry should go towards, then write your own scripts and make it happen.

You aren't supporting Prema if you don't trust that he is only doing what he has to and doesn't have ill intentions of burning you because you're not buying from a specific retailer. That's ridiculous. Unfortunately, there are very few people like Prema who will do the good work, mostly on their own dollars, and give that away.

Maybe you should be venting your frustrations to local resellers and not here. Nobody here is responsible for your disdain of the current situation.

Or, maybe you should try to do something more positive and help connect more talented people to this cause to find a "Prema" that can work with European vendors.

As it is now, I'm surprised that anyone has responded to you with the amount of respect they have, because, in my opinion, you certainly haven't earned it.

There's too much tension in here, need to lighten the mood. I found some old school papers my mother had saved, she had my final exam from computer class from the 8th or 9th grade. I got a 14% on that exam. That's a 14 out of a possible 100. A big fat F- if those were possible. I remember we were using Radio Shack computers, a Tandy TRS80. That was back in 1984 or 85. I think those we're high tech in those days. Don't know if they Over Clocked well but it didn't matter because I could turn it on and that was about it. That was it for computers until a year or 2 ago. A lot's changed since then.

Exactly  Please re-read the lowest part from @Prema's last post #12998 :hi:

"I am 100% behind my honest partner and will neither disappoint them nor the end-user out there that could not purchase from a partner shop. But we have to ensure Clevo & NVIDIA know the difference between the bricks that come-in from the firmware flooding the net and the 'premamod project', or all of us will have to pay the price.
Now I need you to stop fighting and be patient, so we can prepare for all of you whatever comes next...

PremaMod is NOT dead and just like the Phoenix will rise from his ashes time and again!"

    With love and respect!

Yup, America is shackled by the lowest common denominators (about half the population) that have lowered their standards for everything that life has to offer. It's very sad. The funny part is those bottom feeders are unable to recognize that they are poor, blind and naked. It's really hard to fix that when they are not aware or refuse to acknowledge how bad they are messed up.

Sometimes stating the obvious has the same effect. And, where we are headed with crippled trashbooks is more of a symptom (acceptance) of underlying issues rather than a cause (proliferation of garbage). Pretending the emperor is not naked only makes matters worse.

Regardless of our "misunderstanding" before (for I have to apologize), the situation remains the same! It's not the arrogant resellers overseas and/or the "propaganda" you're describing, it's simply the fact that Prema offered his collaboration to a broad spectrum of resellers throughout the planet and although most of them would have liked working with him many had to refuse, because they weren't allowed to! XMG and CEG are only two examples to state your argument of resellers in Europe.

By the way: Prema was screwed by resellers as well! With that said, the "only" resellers which support Prema-Bios are located overseas atm. And now? What's your point of all that rumbling?

    Buy it or leave it....

What? Can you please explain more? You cannot disable V-Sync in NVIDIA Control Panel? What version of Windows OS X is doing this?

Not my thing -- but seen this thing on a gamedev forum, seems that it was related to something like windows updates / a windows version.

Maybe it applies only to built-in GPU, but the fact that someone had discovered this scares me quite a bit .

You could try mixing and matching graphs and stuff with HWiNFO and MSI AB's latest beta, I'll message you later about them. I have to edit mine more but I've got just afterburner doing this:

if you mix it with HWiNFO there's a new "modern" display that includes the graphs that is really nice and neat (though it requires some configuration). Here's the basic form:

You can adjust superscript and column pacing as you like, when I do it I'll relay how to you if you're interested.

Err it's a lot of work. I'd suggest googling a guide or somesuch. You can space better in HWiNFO (like I like to) but it's more stuff to run etc. A combination is usually best.

    7700K right?

Shouldn't you be able to keep it static at like 1.1v or so? A -50mV should still be quite a bit of voltage?

Yeah, sharing is always good. Please do.

I don't find anything in MSI Afterburner monitoring sensors that isn't available in the latest HWiNFO64. I haven't used Afterburner sensors in years because they are incomplete and (even more so) because they are not as configurable (in terms of layout) as HWiNFO64. Is there something valuable for on-screen display that you found in Afterburner that is not available from HWiNFO64?

I've started to tinker more with EVGA Precision again and already starting to like it better than Afterburner, which had actually been the case for many years due to the missing voltage control for notebook GPUs. The voltage graph configuration seems to work much better with Precision and I can unlink temp target and power target sliders, which is something I cannot do with Afterburner.

For 24/7 going down to 0.666v keeps it as quiet as possible.

I know, but with the later microcodes it just froze my PC too much when I went to sleep for the night. I had to switch to static. It does not seem to affect temperatures much, that I have found.

When I get down to it and fiddle, I will.

I like the frametime readout, and the FPS count to read the api instead of just a number. Makes it useful to tell what a game uses to render, helps with some hooking programs and to pinpoint issues, or with NVPI tweaking. I used to solely use HWiNFO64 but I found that AB had those little benefits, and then I just learned how to get voltage and everything to show up, so I figured it's good enough for the time being.

There's also more ways you can run graphs between the two, by the way. Here's a picture from another user:

That looks pretty nice, but I think it would bug me too much having so much of the screen with an overlay. Graphs are actually more useful for diagnostics than real-time monitoring. I find glancing at a number while gaming or benching to be highly effective. But, the graphs on-screen do look extremely cool.

Was just to say you could set it up as you liked for statistics. I would never use a graph unless benchmarking a game or proving a point about frametimes.
