    Ah missed that post :

    - 1°) Monitor temperature. - ThrottleStop / HWinfo / HWMonitor
    - 2°) Confirm the OC parameters i set to be effective ( resource monitors read [email protected] Ghz ). - ThrottleStop / HWinfo / HWMonitor
    - 3°) Do a little stress test to check stability on load. - TS Bench / wPrime 1024 / H.264 Encoding / Prime 95 (15mins tops) / AiDA64 / Real Bench / CineBench

No doctor anymore at 02:50 AM here...

    CPU-Z and HW confirmed 4 Cores @ 4.5 Ghz.

( Huge thanks@ Phoenix for his i7 6700K [email protected] Ghz YouTube Video ).

    CPU-Z datas comparison to "standard" i7 6700 K reads: + 8% in 1 thread, + 11% in multi-threads improvement.

DRAM = 1333 Mhz. It is DDRAM: does it mean 2666 Mhz ? If yes, it is very simple to OC the RAM with this Bios

    ... Then Prema is a Genius !

Large Stress-Test tomorrow night: i'll let you know, Bloodhawk, how it happens.

Thanks again and have a good night.

P.S: if the stress-test exams are passed and taken, can i set the boot to Turbo-Mode only, then

( i didn't in case of a crash, to keep the ability to Bios boot-access again ) ?

Couldn't use ThrottleStop: after download, it read that it didn't fit with my CPU...

What about your GTX 980 OC settings ?

Thought you were making a sarcastic self deprecating comment. My bad if not.

Regarding Throttlestop, I made the same mistake. Try the beta version.

Nope, I haven't used ThrottleStop, (3610qm!) but I will give it a shot. What will give me a good hint of power throttling?

either processor or gpu clocks down during intense usage when temperature are still below the throttle point.

It is the same heatsink as ours. All P75x/77xZM/DM have the same heatsink, if memory serves, except the P775DM. So they do know our pain, except with a skylake chip in it.

Get ThrottleStop from the signature of @unclewebb and use that instead of XTU cancerware. You should be able to run 45x4 doing nothing but setting the multipliers all to 45 using stock voltage.

    Check first post.

Actually they are in the previous thread you asked in. The n00bies one.
But those high settings will be difficult with XTU.
    Better use ThrottleStop.

    okay so then

i should probably undo my XTU settings right? and then use the throttlestop settings for the i7 6700 by setting all multipliers to 45 and leaving everything else alone?

Are the XTU settings working to your satisfaction? If not, go ahead and undo then uninstall XTU and reboot. If the answer is yes, Make sure they are applied and install ThrottleStop. When you launch it for the first time it will adopt all of your XTU settings for all 4 of the CPU profiles. Then go ahead and uninstall XTU.

i have no issues with the XTU settings but the voltage is reduced. i don't know what they are by default so if i installed throttlestop, would it know what my defaults were before xtu?

Hit a slight speed bump because the 980ti Hybrid needed the case to be open, and the Core wont turn on with out the latch closed. And since the core was new, and not mine, my friend wouldn't let me jumper it.
Gonna try it again once his replacement card comes in.
But looking at this, i dont see why it wont .

correct me if im wrong, but the only "hint" that an egpu "might" work in this screenshot is the line that egpus are supported, right? otherwise im just seeing the internal 980 mobile...

did u somehow modify the tb3 drive to unlock egpu support?

Not enough unfortunately, a single Titan X(P) isn't quite enough.

SLI Titan X(P) or SLI 1080 seems to be the minimum requirement to hit 60 FPS+ in 4k.

Maybe I am being too picky, but the 1080 single wasn't enough, and the Titan X(P) is only 27% faster, that's not many FPS increase in 4k.

The benchmarks I have been seeing, admittedly thin on the ground so far, have shown not enough boost for 4k in many games, but Titan X(P) SLI looks fine.

You can get one Titan X(P), and add the 2nd one later  :D

Titan X overclock much better and I remember seeing a single titan x is 35%+ compare to 1080....

I want to avoid SLI at all cost. Its definitely enough for my 3440 x 1440 setup.

Will have benchs up tomorrow once I get it.
