If you have the high bandwidth cable (your laptop came with 4k, 1080p 120hz) it's a simple swap. If not then you will need the cable too.

Note internal g-sync support is lost if the panel model is changed.

    Guys,
Anyone know what kind of panel is available in the new clevo models? It says 144hz gsync 72% ntsc led?? It is IPS or TN? Any response time data?
My experiences with laptop IPS screen are bad... I had an asus gl702 with 120hz IPS, and the panel was really slow... I could see motion blur when playing... TN 120hz are just great, however 144hz TN would be even better :)
    Any feedback is appreciated! cheers

    Guys,
I have an annoying problem, what I cannot solve so far... I use my laptop in 3 different place on EXTERNAL displays (2x offices, home). Each time the laptop forgets the different external screen, and each of them is different... (full hd, ultrawide, 1440p.) Is there any solution to solve this?
    thx

For the P775DM3-G which of this LCD's from the service manual have 120Hz and g-sync?

    upload_2018-4-21_1-49-33.png

I have the first one in mine and its only 75Hz with g-sync

I don't think those panels do, I am not sure any did on this model. (At beyond 75Hz)

None as far as I know. however chi-mei 120hz work flawlessly... I have changed the ips to 120hz screen and works 100%. On EUROCOM LCD UPGRADE session you can find the models and related parts... however I do not know if there is any bios issues... for eg MSI16LX struggles with 120hz screens, you need certain bios to use is... I do not know if there is any issues with clevo...

So i messaged Eurocom and apparently this LCD is compatible with our laptop, the P775DM3-G with the latest BIOS (1.06.11) and EC (1.06.02):

    - 17.3-inch (43.9cm) QHD 2560x1440; 120Hz; Matte; TN; 5ms; 700:1; 400nts; NTSC 72%; eDP; AUO B173QTN01.0

And it has G-sync according to them!

XoticPC sells this LCD on amazon and ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/AUO-B173QT...n-Replacement-Display-2560X1440-/112856341526

    And: https://www.amazon.com/B173QTN01-0-Screen-Replacement-Display-2560X1440/dp/B07B6BN6ZB

Is there any representative from XoticPC that can tell me if really works with the P775DM3-G and it has g-sync?

Or maybe if there is anyone who has bought it or has it, and has feedback on it? Pros and cons?

    Edit:

So apparently they sell this LCD which may contain dead pixels???? WTF

Edit2: Saw some feedback regarding this LCD that got replaced with a new LCD without banding and horizontal lines named AUO B173QTN01.4

Most panel sellers will sell panels that may have one or more dead pixels. It's getting rarer these days but it's still common.

I saw a couple of your posts stating that this panel with the revision .4 doesn't support g-sync. Can you confirm?

Damn i really wanted to buy the panel but being a non g-sync its a bummer if confirmed :(

    Waiting for feedback

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a GTX 1080 card into a Clevo P775DM2? I understand it is exact same size/layout as the 1070 card so my concerns would be with power, heat and firmware. Could power/heat issues just be solved by slightly under clocking the card though?

I have a PCSpecialist Octane III with a GTX 1070 and the card is on its way out but the cost of replacing it is only about £30 cheaper than buying a 1080 so if it's a viable option it's one I'd be interested in.

I guess you will need, at least, a new/tunned heatpipes for 1080 since it heats much more than 1070.

It's more if your machine has been qualified with it, if not then it won't support it.

Maybe I'll order it and we'll see? Haven't seen anything stating that the LCD is supported by this machine in the service manual. Is it a matter or BIOS support?

    B173QTN01.4 has no G-Sync.

However, I see this screen listed on HIDevolution's website for most new Clevo models:

    17.3" Full HD (1920x1080) 144Hz~9ms IPS-level 72% NTSC Matte Type Display - w/ nVIDIA® G-SYNC™ Technology

It's a matter of the specific chassis, card and panel all having been validated by Nvidia together. The three must then be together, a change to any one require re-validation.

Would I be able to circumvent this problem though by just undervolting the card using something like MSI Afterburner?

My 1080 does have g-sync because currently I have a 75hz g-sync panel lg philips lp173wf4-spf1 and g sync works great so its only the LCD that I need but like @Phoenix says I see everywhere that it has g sync, then a couple of sellers saying it doesn't have. I'm so confused lol

AFAIK you cannot UV pascal cards in laptops, unless you modify it via HW.

You can put a g-sync rated panel in a g-sync machine but if that specific combo is not white listed in the drivers and firmware it won't have g-sync.

9ms... based on my experiences ips 120hz screens im laptop are very slow... you can feel that the panel draws the pictures slowly and you can see significant shadowing... if anyone ha different experiences with ips 120hz+ screens...

Hi everyone, I own a Clevo P751Dm2-g from Eurocom.

I am thinking about the heatsink. When gaming (or benchmarking) my CPU(7700T) is 55°C, and my GPU(GTX1070) pretty 70°C (repasted and delided with conductonaut (thanks notebookreview forum). Temps are pretty low I think, but I was thinking can I do something .
At 70°C my GPU fan is loud. while my CPU (running at 55°C) fan is slow. The plan is to take heat from GPU to CPU fan.

My CPU max temp is 80°C (intel dixit) and GPU 100°C (Nvidia dixit). If I take heat from GPU at 70°C (when gaming) to CPU fan through CPU, my CPU will heat to 70°C. Can the CPU does thermal throttling and can it be dangerous for CPU to run just 10°C below the max temp?

In my Clevo I have that heatsink :
    Heatsink 1
So 2 coppers for the GPU, 3 coppers for the CPU at right, and 1 at left. And 1 for the GPU memory.

    I saw others versions :
    Heatsink 2
    Heatsink 3
    Heatsink 4

What do you think about that?
I saw some ideas in the forum but no question about that.

    Thanks for your suppositions.

No, Intel made it so the Xeons of the same socket now require a different c series chipset.

Hi Meaker. It's undervolted and I run the obsidian app. It happened on my previous Clevo and I reseated the cmos battery and it was ok. However I'm not as confident with this machine for starters can't find the cmos battery. I've tried switching ram and fn+d to reset bios. Last hope is the cmos battery. Checked screen ribbons the CPU and gpu themselves and don't see any issues. Was working fine before closed the lid and power cable fell out. I remember when it happened before someone mentioning it was a win10 issue with fast boot and hibernation.
