Hi guys, it has been a while!

My laptop stopped working now, after almost 3 years. It wont turn on, independently of battery (I have two, tried also without).

I've sent it to service and they said it was due to an oxidation, as some liquid was spilled in the touchpad area. It has happened 3 months ago, the touchpad has stopped working, but the laptop wont turn on just from last week. I'm not very convinced, but they say I have to change the whole motherboard.

They will charge US$ 700 for it, I think it is sort of expensive.

What would be a reasonable price for a Clevo W150HNQ motherboard? (and where to find...)

Any other ideas and thoughts about the problem or alternatives to make best use of my money...
The laptops is still quite a machine, for the specs, I would not like to waste an i7 and 8 GB of ram and that beautiful screen...

    Thanks!
