The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Being a relative notebook newbie I'm still having problems with the touchpad on my NP700...got the newest driver.
    Selecting text instead of selecting a button is often the result...

    I know this sounds stupid :eek: , but is there on the web a howto for guys like me, being used to hammering away on keyboards & mouse :rolleyes: ?
    Got thick fingers too because of half a life soldering inside CTV's, which does not help either...maybe get a extension a la Scissorhands... :)
