    Hi, I have a Samsung Notebook hoyt6yk. So it was working completely fine before this incident .But suddenly yesterday after switching on the laptop, the samsung screen pops up then the screen is just black, there is power and the fans are working. I can't use the bootup menu, i've tried plugging it into my tv but the output is in the laptop. Any other ideas?

    This looks to be some form of bricking problem. Look through the links in this thread.

    Please confirm the notebook model and which version of Windows. Have you kept the BIOS up-to-date?
