Hi all, is there a clean install Windows 7 guide for Samsung laptops? I will be receiving my Samsung Q330 this week and was wondering if there is a clean install people are using at the moment?

I haven't seen such a guide, perhaps because Samsung don't install a lot of unwanted bloatware. However, you may want to change the pre-loaded anti-virus software for your preferred package.

Many thanks John. I remember using my clean install guide for Windows Vista for my previous Samsung laptop.

I wasn't sure if that method worked as well for Windows 7.

In any event, looking forward to receiving my Q330 this week.

Hi, did you find a method in the end? I just got my Q330.

I have a question: there is a way to have the windows preintalled dvd? I have a 522 Samsung Laptop, and i have the Seven Dvd only because the upgrade program from Vista.
If in the future a will buy another Samsung laptop it would be nice to have the DVD.

twe69, unfortunately not. Haven't found a method in the end for Windows 7.

Pk77, you will never get that unfortunately. All manufacturers are going the route of no DVDs.

But there may be an option to create your own Windows DVD from the image on the HDD. This provides protection against HDD failure.
