    Hi Everyone,
I have a R719 that a client brought to me to help them source the battery, but it has been a pain the arse to track down ( they don't have the original battery ). I have searched ebay, checked on samsungs websites, checked battery websites all to no avail, we even tried to order a battery that looked like it but nada. If anyone has any information on the battery part # for the samsung please, i would be eternally grateful.

    Kind Regards,
    Devon

How does the R719 differ from the R718 and the R720? This site lists the batteries for both those models. It's 99.9% likely, in my opinion, that whatever fits the R718 and R720 will fit the R719. Samsung shouldn't want to make their own production logistics more complicated by introducing a different battery.

    hi thanks for checking,
Sadly, The one that we bought before also matches the part number of that battery ( in terms of the model it replaces ). It is different in capacity, so it worth a shot, though i hate to have to buy it simply to try something *again* :(.

Thanks alot for your help though.

    Regards,
    Devon

Does the battery have the same voltage rating and does the connector fit? If so, I cannot think of a reason why it wouldn't work. Capacities can vary among batteries from different sources.

    Hi,
The battery didn't fit, at least not 100%, we had a guy experiement with it (making modification to the battery) it did work but he ended up ruining the battery. So we would prefer not to have another almost. However i have talked to my supervisors and they are willing to try ( along with the owners consent ) the one you posted. I was just hoping someone in this forum would have the exact model and can give me the part number so we would not have to guess.

    Regards,
    Devon

Since the R719 was sold in UK then the Samsung parts suppliers should know the correct battery part number.
