    Hello,

I have this laptop for few years. I like it, good hardward but everytime I restart it hands in the bios screen. THe screen that show the logo and the hints on how to get in bios.

If I do a power off it always goes well. I thing I got the lastest firmware.

One more thing I want to add, unrelated to the above is that the system logs show errors like this

The device, \Device\Ide\iaStor0, did not respond within the timeout period.

I can't seem to be able to figure it out what's going on.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks!

Windows 7 or 8? Did you re-install Windows or is this the factory installation? And if you DID re-install, which UEFI settings did you make in BIOS?

The disk error you see in the system log could actually be the cause in some roundabout way, if the problem is that your iSSD (the one used for ExpressCache) is wearing down.

Try and install HWiNFO (Google it) and see what is shown under SMART status for your main disk and iSSD, respectively.
