    Hi all
I'm cureently considering a variety of options for a 12" notebook, including the new samsung NC20. However the Q210 offers more power and an optical drive albeit at increased weight and cost. However I'm not so keen on the shiny exterior finish and have considered the P210 version in matte black.

The only review I've found on the P210 is a fairly detailed user account from WTB on this forum in December 08. He bought a machine with optional 9 cell battery and seemed reasonably happy.

How do you feel now WTB, if you're still here?

In the UK the P8400 version with 320GB drive retails at about £700 with tax. It seem a reasonable option. Not particularly light, but I guess fast, quiet, reasonably well built and with decent speakers (for a matte machine)

Anyone else have any experiences with this one?

    Thanks

One European member told me he had a matt screened Q210 , but in the UK the Q210 is glossy.

The UK P210 only has an INTEL X4500 graphics when the Q210 has an NVIDIA 9200m GS.

The speakers are averagely loud, but have zero bass.

I had a Q210 but sent it back because the screen had very little colour and the keyboard was too small for gaming.

Integrated graphics will do for me, especially if it helps battery life. I'd hope for 4 hours with a 6 cell and P8400 processor?

I was getting an estimated 5 hour + hours with my 9200m gs with a 6cell.

I would hope for at least 6 hours with P series CPU and integrated GPU since I can get that from my Dell E6400 with 14.1" display (albeit LED backlit, which uses less power). This thread, about the Q210's predecessor (Q45) is relevant and the new Intel hardware is more power efficient.
