    Hi.

I have just installed new video and audio drivers after being notified my samsung update plus.

The audio drivers updated without a problem, but the video drivers gave me a scare after the first re-boot as all i had was a blank screen and a white cursor, but if you leave it for 5-10mins the desktop will return.

Another thing when my desktop returned, I had no nvidia control panel, but after another re-boot it returned.

The video drivers have changed from 175.97 to 176.24

EDIT : my 3dmark06demo score has went from 2086 to 2096 so a slight change.

    Regards

    John.

    Hi.

The Samsung update plus has just prompted me to update the bios to 07LE , this is a Q210 bios, you Q310 will get your own, i suppose.

The firmware update completed without any problems.

It`s supposed to fix display flickering or something, but i have never had the problem.

    Regards

    John.

I just updated mine too. There didn't seem to be any performance increase for me either.

Every time i run the update program it says it is updating itself now, and i have done it 3 times, i wonder if it is having a problem!

I just ran the update program and it said it was updating itself and it did.
It didn't look like it was actually doing anything though. Maybe you should just leave it for a while. That's what i did.

    Hi.

Have you tried running it a second or third time, so if it says it is updating again?

    Regards

    John.

Yes. the first time i ran it my battery power was less than 30% and there was a bios update so it didn't update at all.
I've just run it 3 times now as well and it starts up fine each time.

    Hi.

Mine must not have updated correctly, so i removed it and downloaded it from the Samsung website.

When i run it for the first time, it said it was updating itself and after a minuted of downloading it now has a different menu layout.

    Regards

    John.

Well, the updated driver from Samsung never actually downloaded.

I ended up downloading the driver from Intel direct, and it seems to work OK, and it is newer than the one Samsung have.

    Hi.

The Intel Wi-Fi driver from the Samsung download is version 12.0.0.82

It`s strange how you did not get the download?

    Regards

    John.

Yeah I did, it was using that program that it failed to download.

Now that I have the driver from Intel it shows no updates.

    Hi.

For the last couple of days we have been having network errors when trying to check for updates.

Today when i ran the update, it said there was a new version the the update manager and a new hdmi driver.

So you can only install one at a time, so i choose the update manager, so one it installs and i check for updates it says that i have no new update.

So what happened to the new hdmi driver?

Then new update manager is supposed to be v20017 , though i am unable to verify this as the update manager gives no version number.

    John.
