I got this from a Samsung employee that has been a reliable source in the past.

That's all he wanted to say though. And "be patient".

I agree a 10.2" is what we need to have dedicated graphics, there are plenty of 12" notebooks out there with dedicated graphics. Though why not do both!

As far as I know there are no 11.6" netbooks with 9400 yet.

Asus has a 1000H with ATI 3470 though.

Then you'd better stock up on matte screens. ;)

I prefer matte too, but the world is going glossy.

FWIW, I went out of my way to buy a matte Samsung LCD TV last year. They did make a high end matte model special, so they apparently realize not everyone wants gloss. However, that doesn't seem to have trickled down to their netbooks.

A couple sites have put the MSRP at $799 which is insane if true. I know I wouldn't even consider one at that price.

Lol good luck with your choice Jay you know alot so i know you will make the right choice ;)

Stereo, $799? Normally samsung prices are a bit inflated at the beginning or sometimes the conversion is messed up and people assume its that high. For me im stronly feeling $699 for some reason. I just know by the time this comes out it will be priced RIGHT.

I have read this might be $600USD, $799 is the price converted from a European currency.

I knew that was priced too high plus samsung is obviously aiming at all the other 11.6" netbooks so im sure they though about the price before hand.

No it's growing. More ITX mainboards and nettops are appearing with N330 Dual Core Atom and Nvidia Ion.

This one is pretty cool imo: http://www.asrock.com/nettop/spec/ION 330.asp

Yes both. When ever I see a computer store I can't resist to walk inside.

My opinion: They're ok displays. Bright enough for normal use. Too reflective and not bright enough for outside with sunshine use. The both have very narrow vertical viewing angles though.

Ditto on the inability to resist going inside a computer store! LOL

I also agree with your assessment on the display on both these models. I appreciate the response, I enjoy reading others views on these things.

It would be nice if this newer model did have better view angles and I wouldn't mind it even being just a tad bit brighter.
