I am putting this in a new thread so it gets noticed.

Two emails just in from Moduslink (I had put in two orders for the Vista upgrade. One for the Q35 and one for the X60plus):

The two orders had numbers about a million apart, but have been shipped within minutes of each other so I presume they collected all the Samsung orders together.

Moduslink seem to have created a new calendar with more days in April. The emails are dated 18th April, delivery may take up to 3 weeks and I have to notify by 1st May if they don't arrive, so there must be at least 3 more weeks remaining of April.

It's a bit late, too, don't you think?

    Better late than never!

Shipping of Samsung Vista upgrade discs suggests that Samsung now have a set of Vista drivers. It remains to be seen if/when they will post them on their download site. Sending out discs for two different modesl at the same time also suggests that one upgrade disc contains drivers for the whole range of supported machines.

My Vista Home Premium has shipped for my X60 Plus, as I was only entitled to Business Edition (my work has already installed that for me anyway) there not checking XP serial numbers very well, He He.

Still no Vista drivers on Samsungs UK site and as I said in another thread the X60 Plus no longer comes with the Vista Capable sticker, be interesting to see if a driver CD ships with it which I doubt will.

Your order goes through several stages:

You submit the order which includes the COA number; then the COA is validated; then you submit the Proof of Purchase (POP) then your order status should move to COA/POP validated; finally the order is approved and then despatched. The process is in this thread.

Did you ever get any emails from Moduslink?

I suggest that you email Moduslink ([email protected]) with your order number and ask for clarification about the status.

My order status was 'COA/POP validated' several weeks ago, and I have not checked it until this morning when it went to 'Order received'. what about your order status? Have you ever got 'Order received'?

I can't recall having an "order received" status, unless it was step one.

I suggest you contact Moduslink. You may find that they won't need much encouragement to send out a disc. If the order numbers were in sequence, they had over 3 million to process and I'm sure some went wrong.

I've received one upgrade package today - it came by post from Greenford. More about the package in the Samsung Vista upgrade thread.
