Samsung p29 laptop Help!

Samsung P29 - ATI Graphics - Pentium M.

Restore disk for this laptop lost, installed Windows XP Home. Downloaded drivers via http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/productsupport/download/query.aspx?keyword=P29
All seemed well, wireless network sorted, display sorted. But - for the past four hours I have desperatly tried to locate and install the following components ( listed as not installed via device manager):

Mulimedia Audio Controller
SM Bus Controller ( maybe I can live with that?)

Re: Audio - Downloaded what I assumed were the correct files direct from Samsung, message appeared = " SoundMAX WDM Driver not found". Located this driver ( I think) Upon install stated " Driver not found...." The Sound and Audio Devices via control panel indicate no devices installed / found. At one point I managed to receive the message from device manager " Unable to start - Code10"

All I need are the Mulimedia Audio Controller / sound drivers for this laptop. The downloads from Samsung dont seem to work. Also tried the Intel site - no joy and failed installations.

Any help will be most appreciated.

 

Does the Samsung global download site have any of the P29 drivers or software that you still need?

SamsungPC is another source which sometimes has some different drivers.

SamsungPC sorted it!
To say I'm grateful is an understatement! You sorted what Samsung failed to do! just got to remove the " SM Bus Contoller" error in Device Manager now.
