This tool might come handy for SAMSUNG users who are unhappy with the keyboard layout. You can redefine most keys using this application. No driver will be loaded, it just creates a registry entry, works under Vista, too:

I used it to get rid of two (for me) annoying keys, the CAPSLOCK and the Fn-Menu keys.

It's also possible to redefine most keys (unfortunately not the Av-Station key).

    Cheers, Ernie.

This looks cool... it also appears that it is not specific for Samsung, can anyone confirm?

Yes you are right, works on any Windows machine ...

... I just posted it here because I own a SAMSUNG Q35 and only read this forum and also heard one or the other complain about the SAMSUNG keyboard layout.

Has anybody tried this and can confirm that it works with the FN key? I read before that the FN key cant be changed because it is not a normal key. Just want to make sure. Has anybody tried it?

Yes, I used the tool to disable the Fn-Menu function = press/release Fn-Key makes the context menu come up.

    This was really annoying me.

All the Fn-combinations with other keys still work no problem.

So it works for the remapping of the Menu function which happens when the Fn key is pressed by itself, but doesn't work for remaping of the Fn+other keys. The facility that many people want is to remap between the Fn and the left control key.
