    Hi,

I currently have alot of lectures at uni where im not able to geto a plug socket for hours so im looking for the best operating system for battery life but also speed.

Has anyone managed to install xp, ubuntu 9.10 netbook remix, and the new ubuntu 10.04 netbook remix and record battery life?

    Thanks

p.s. does anyone know of any battery life benchmark software that works both in ubuntu and xp? If no one has done it then i can and let you know the results.

I planned on buying an old (but still) good NC10 with WinXP.
Not going to use the demoversion of Win7 the Starter version.

I think i have read that comparing with Win7, WinXP has a higher batter life.
