So... Why is this priced at around £950 when it doesn't have the mega specs of others in the same price range?
Or am i missing something? Are for example the CPU and Ram here much better, even though for example the Ram is only 3GB and not 4..
No Blu Ray?
Also - does anyone know if there will be new versions out anytime soon?

I think with this model you are paying for the less size and weight. The X460 is billed to be lighter weight than your average 14.1 laptop.

Yes, you are paying more money for less weight. Lighter weight involves more expensive materials and manufacturing processes. The X460 weighs about 1.9kg. Most 14.1" notebooks weigh 2.3 to 2.5kg and the new Dell Studio 13 weighs at least 2.2kg. The only other current notebook to offer 14.1" below 2kg is the Fujitsu S6520.
There is no current information about new versions of the X460. The User Guide shows an intel GPU option and there is an Intel graphics driver on the Samsung download site.
Samsung don't seem to be showing any new / updated notebooks at CES. The next big event is CEBIT in March.

Has anyone reviewed it on this site?

I cant find this GPU option you speak of...
Do you think this laptop is a good option or generally overpriced? -

I also haven't seen the X460 advertised anywhere with the Intel GPU. Maybe it is being sold somewhere in the world. Each country sales office chooses from the list of options to select how they want their Samsung notebooks configured.
The X460 is expensive compared to mainstream 14.1" notebooks. However, a general rule is less weight = more price. I presume the chassis uses some expensive metal alloy in order to keep the weight and thickness to the minimum. The other 14.1" notebook in the same weight range is the Fujitsu S6520.
However, since the display is only 1280 x 800 then you should perhaps also be considering alternatives in the 13.3" size range, which would have similar weight. This post in the NC10 thread indicates that the X series have 3 year warranties, at least in USA. That is worth a little money.

Why does the Samsung site list the specs higher than the shops?
http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/...ype=xseries&model_cd=MKGX460MSAXEU&fullspec=F
It says 4GB Ram and 320GB HD, whereas shops list it as 3 and 250.
