My r480 core i5 430m with geforce 330m has no problem playing games like
L4D2 at high setting, even when the zombie is rushing ,
I never tried cod mw2, i really don't believe there will be problem running it at high setting.

about able to play online game fluently,
    that depend on the game,,
some game depend on cpu more, some GPU more..

but to me , having a balance system is important.
core i5 with geforce 330m should be able to play most game at high setting, if it can't just reduce the setting abit.

    (about the xbox quality,
most PC games at med graphic setting should looks atleast as good as the xbox 360
so the R580 should be able to give you better then xbox 360 graphic in gaming

the core i5 520 is even faster then the r480's core i5 430

is it just me,?? i just bought r480 with 330m gpu
after i upgrade my vga nvidia driver to the samsung latest one, and the system will crash after 5-10 mins of gaming.
    (tried SF4, sim3, CS:S , and nba 2k10) all crash after 5-10 mins
i have dual boot windows 7 32 and 64 bit in this laptop.
and i even tried in both windows, Both of them crash with new samsung nvidia driver.

so is it just me or is there something wrong with the driver.

in windows 7 64 when it crash. the screen will have all kinds of lines , articfacts etc.
    and
in windows 7 32 it will just give me a black screen.....

last note this is a new laptop only bought it yesterday.....
i even reinstalled my own win7 64 bits, it still crashes with new driver

tho when i use old driver itwon't crash..

    I didn't have that problem,
    tried both driver from samsung,
i recommand using the hwmonitor to monitor the temp of your laptop 's cpu and gpu

    download from here
    http://www.cpuid.com/
run the game in window mode and then keep an eye on the temperature both of your cpu and gpu.

39 and 37 the two cpu core.
    gpu idle at 41

    when playing games
the cpu and gpu could get to like 80
i have done furmark stress test on the gpu in the review in page one..
you can see the max temp my gpu could reach
