As a newbie in the world of antivirus who has only been using windows defender and malwarebytes, is it safe for me to assume eset is the best antivirus? and should i buy the nod32?

I see theres a few options from the premium, internet security, and the basic nod32

Many like Eset Nod32 because it's so lightweighted, and don't eat so many clock cycles. And it scores high on safety over time. + not much problems with it when people upgrade to next main Win feature update. There is no need for the more expensive ESET Internet Security/ESET Smart Security Premium. It will only add bloat at extra costs and Windows own firewall is good enough.

Many years since I used MB. Can't tell how good it is nowadays. For my own part I will continue with Nod32. So up to you :)

But here's the latest performance analyse by bro Spartan.

I have used ESET NOD32 originally I was a bad boy, but for the past 4+ years I have bought it because its just dam good. Not once have I had a virus since I have had it installed.

Its my goto recommendation to people I service systems for and they are also happy with it.

Between using ESET and my own DNS server with Malware/Trojan block list I can safely say I am safe from any intrusion.

When I go to a website (ghacks.net) I get pop-up notifications (3 usually) that an address (notix.io) has been blocked
I'm fine with the blocking, but is there anyway to set NOD32 to stop notifying about this instance every single time I go to the website- I already know about it. Something along the lines of a "block, and stop telling me about it"
