LOL. I guess you're not using it. Avira Antivir Personal 9 would always be your choice right?
XD!
Anyway, thanks for sharing. -
Nope, I'm not!
And, yes on Avira AV 9
I just saw it availi, and thought I'd share the update!

Are you Maximus' sister?
-
Why you ask so? LOL.
I doubt they have same kind of behaviour? -
Hey Cin'! Long time no talk huh? Thanks for the info but I still use Avast. I've used Avira before, but I don't know how good it is now.
-
Avast, AVG, and Avira..I think they are good
I think it's personal preference..and what you want to use.
I think trying them out is a good idea, and sticking with the one that just *works for you*
Personally, I haven't tried AVG....but it has good Forum Member feedback!

Sidenote..: (it has been awhile)!

thanks for the heads up im gonna try it out lets see if it runs smooth.....

The last time I used AVG, it gave me some problems with games that have a security thing on it. I've used Avira once, it seems to be "light" and not taking up lots of resources.
Avast is cool because I like the fast definition updates, boot-time scanner, and that it found viruses that others couldn't.
-
Avast is a wee bit slower than Avira. I however prefer Avast because....as Cin said, it's a personal thing. I also like and trust Avast's boot time scan as well as password protection (which Avira does not have).
At work here too, Avast rocks when you are using it to help people clean out old infected systems. That's where the boot time scan really weeds out the buried crap that Avira cant.
I have used Norton, Avira, Avast and AVG all for extended periods of time.
And I always come back to Avast.
