When I launch it, it only shows 1 of 3 accounts (the last one I added). I deleted the other two, and the one I wanted showed up. (only sync mail with the other two). I just re-added the others.
Now, huddle doesn't seem to want to load. I just get a "Loading..." thing.

The Motorola Triumph for Virgin Mobile is now available to pre-order at Best Buy, for $300. Yikes...well, I guess I can't say I'm surprised, given that the Intercept and Optimus V were both $200 at launch.
Virgin Mobile - Motorola Triumph No-Contract Mobile Phone - Black - MOTOROLA TRIUMPH
Luckily I just made $120 today selling my iPod Touch, so hopefully I'll be able to recover a little more selling my Intercept as well and put it all towards this. -
Nice, I guessed the price exactly right ( for work).
In other news, VM Canada released the HTC Sensation for $499... -
A post i just read on facebook......
"Sorry android, the white iPhone had me at hello"
I am enraged!!!! i hate iphone/apple fanboys
-
How is that a fanboy?
-
Well aside from just that comment she is
loves Macs and brags about it all the time lol.
-
Well, she's not a fan boy, is she?
-
No because like google Talk, that part is horribly broken, set to the first account you add on the phone through the setup wizard.
And judging by the tepid non response to the Talk bug reports about it...it'll never change.
That's one thing I'm not really pleased about Google. Microsoft or Apple would have that fixed post haste. -
damn it... your right

Seems Google has pushed an update for Google+ specifically to handle multiple Gmail accounts on sign in... and some minor UI polish.
-
Now i must find a big crow, shoot it and bake it.

H.A.L. 9000 Occam's Chainsaw
ROFL!

My 2nd crow is on the boil...I'm strongly considering the Droid 3.
I'll be over here, holding my hypocrite hat. If the GSII showed any signs of being on Verizon this month or next i'd be looking at it... -
Soon your NBR avy will become..."VERIZON, Y U NO GSII???"
-
I think that is a huge mistake. The droid 2 and droid 3 imo are just extremely lackluster devices. The advantage of having a hardware keyboard is negated when the keyboard is complete garbage. Also, with the droid 3.. moto's QHD penitle screens are pretty lackluster. Can't see it being any better on the droid 3.
Just be patient. The wait is killing me for the SGSII as well, but it will be worth it. Ive gotten so close to caving and buying the infuse since my nexus one's powerbutton completely stopped working, but I've waited this long... it has to be soon. Lol -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jZGoHSvd4U - video showing the keyboard in use....for a half second at least..
I'd rather have bigger keys then a dedicated row for numbers. I don't type numbers that often.
The keyboard is still flawed your right. While the keys are nearly somewhat decently sized, Motorola screws up a bit with the tight spacing. The pentile screen worries me though + it doesn't have 1 GB of RAM...those two would be show stoppers for me if the phone lags and/or the screen looks poor.
Needless to say, if I go Droid 3 I would have to use a demo unit in person before I buy.
Waiting is tough because, like you, my current handset's beginning to fall apart slowly. I might try flashing a new rom to experiment a bit....perhaps MIUI...
Sadly your probably right. -
H.A.L. 9000 Occam's Chainsaw
I'll agree with you about the Pentile screens. The Atrix's 4" qHD is pretty bad when you actually look at it... especially the greens and reds. Same could be said for S-AMOLED but it has other features, like infinite contrast, that make up for it.
-
I heard the GSII is coming to Verizon in late August/early September? Something to do with Verizon wanting to spread out the releases of the Bionic, GSII, and iPhone 5.
On another note, turns out the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 wasn't able to play the flash videos my dad watches. Really surprising. Perhaps it needs some kind of update? The space for the video in the browser was taken up by a seemingly functional video player, but once you click play it just said its unable to play the video. -
Did you install Flash from the market?
-
No I didn't, just assumed it would automatically work. Good call, I'll try it out at Best Buy when I go back.
-
H.A.L. 9000 Occam's Chainsaw
That's because Youtube blocks some videos from mobile devices... for reasons I can't start to understand. Sorry.
If I have my notebook right next to where I have my tablet, how is it any different what I play the video on? It's actually _safer_, copyright wise, than the notebook. -
I need a good idea for an app.
-
I'll just leave this here...

^^ HAHA
Went ahead and ordered a Galaxy Tab 10.1 after returning the iPad 2. I hope the Flash works well and it's a worthwhile upgrade to the iPad 2. -
-
We need Parker, Rogers, Prime, and Murdock!
-
Google maps is out today, with a big update: you can now enable downloading of maps via the labs menu! Select a destination and it'll download everything (map tiles only) within 10 square miles of it. Yay true offline mode! Also power improvements supposedly.
edit: the number of maps you can download is limited to 10 maps -
This is awesome, pretty much cover the entire area I need.
-
Just watched a video explaining how to download the maps, looks really simple.
-
Just spent a couple hours playing with my dad's Galaxy Tab 10.1. What a beast, I like it much more than the iPad 2.
And I figured out the flash player issue! Just changed the browser mode from mobile to desktop and it works great. Thank you for all the help guys. -
Waitin on the Verizon SG2 myself. If it comes in both Android and WM7 versions, dunno what I'll do, but SG2 is definitely the plan.
-
I'm trying but its hard lol.
-
Yep.. the wait gets harder and harder. The longer I wait the crappier my nexus one gets, and I waste money on other things (new exhaust for my mustang
)
-
Intriguing, LTE launches in Ottawa today. Samsung and HTC LTE handsets by the end of the year.
-
Where Are All The Samsung Galaxy S2s For The US?
BLARGH! I WANT IT NOW!
Make it happen HAL
-
It's already available in Portugal since almost a month ago
-
And its been available in other parts of Europe and Asia since April...
Don't see your point. -
luckily my phone is probably gonna last a few more months. and I can't really afford the upgrade right now either. Still, having it released wouldn't be so bad.
-

You will be able to get it on a GSM carrier soon...
CDMA... well, you might suffer oxygen deprivation from all the "breath holding" you'll be doing. The Samsung rep that I see every 2 weeks says that they're hesitant about a CDMA model, saying that it's more in development costs (software) than the end product would be worth in the market. CDMA devices are always higher priced, and the carriers have to guarantee a certain sales number to land such a high-end and highly sought after device... especially when said device is selling like hotcakes without any help from any carrier. <--That says a LOT. And Verizon knows this. This is the main reason they're shifting their core network over to LTE. If LTE can replace CDMA/1xEV, device costs will lower, software will improve, and everybody will win... -
I saw something similar mentioned on a few forums as well. Plus the Fascinate didn't get the warmest reception from Verizon users, my stepmother's experiences with her's has soured her on ever owning a samsung.
-
I said if you were either in Europe or in Asia would've already gotten it...
-
Sooooo,
lets say I want to update my firmware for my Galaxy S I9000m, which one should I get? -
which one?
what do you mean?
-
Well there are a lot of custom firmware I can use, I'm wondering which one is the best.
Btw I had a great time using my phone as a remote for my pc with teamviewer. Sucks that the full version cost $600
-
You mean custom roms? I used Bionix.
-
Roms, yeah that must be it.
Long time no contact with the Android world
-
Damn really? Well there goes my plan. I don't want the Bionic and definitely don't want the Droid 3, I hate Motorola phones.
Looks like I'll be waiting for a while
-
LogMeIn? PhoneMyPC?
Yeah theres so many ROM's, its hard to choose sometimes
-
H.A.L. 9000 Occam's Chainsaw
Use mine.
Just put an i9000 kernel in the updates folder in the zip.
- ROM - Dorian's JVP v2.0 Stable - Gingerbread 2.3.4
