Wait, how is it slippery? It has a rubberized back!

I don't know man, the first few days that I got it, I didn't have my case yet, so I thought I'd use it and be super careful, it slipped from my hand a few times but fell on the bed so it was fine. The last time I was walking towards the bathroom and it fell from my hand level to the ground, the back cover got a bit separated I had to press it REALLY hard to get it to fit flush again. Maybe it's not slippery but because it's heavy, it tends to slip out of your hand very easily. This is one phone I'd never want to use without a case after what happened. Reminds me of how slippery the Nexus 6P was

Guys, I wish someone would come out with the "full sized" wide keyboard slide out like the old Windows Mobile phones, to me that was the peak of the art for mobile phone keyboards.

I'm sure with modern components and a little effort, it could happen in either a physical keyboard, or a dual "screen" slide or folder that we could see sooner than later.

There were other models I used and liked before and after, and even though this one was "thick" when slid together, it was still one of my favorite phones.

The Keyone keyboard short side orientation is just too small, compact / cramped for me to enjoy.

But it's just like Blackberry keyboards of old, which is why I never used a Blackberry.

I'm glad you are all enjoying your new Blackberry's :)

I bought a case and screen protector.

I am, however, not looking forward to the keyboard, having the Passport for 2 years really spoiled me.

Remember me when I say this, the first time you start typing on the keyboard, nostalgia will strike back and remind you of the good 'ol BlackBerry Bold 9700. It has the same kinda clickiness to the keys, very sturdy. The keys might be a bit smaller than your passport but you will get used to it quickly as each key has like its own little elevation making it very easy to differentiate between keys. I love it. I cant type long paragraphs/emails on it without thinking twice and 100% accuracy. I can't for the life of me get used to touch screen keyboards.

I had the Passport as well and felt the keys were a bit too big for my liking. to each his own

I feel Surface Type Cover must be made available on phones with touchscreen. Paired with BT it will be a godsend feature.

^THIS exactly. There's Moto Z Keyboard Mod as an alternative, but I can't say I really like any of the Z's. Something 6"+ bezel-less with slide-out qwerty - now that I'd bite!

This look interesting, when it comes time for me to replace my phone I hope this may be a good option. I, like many people, greatly miss having a physical keyboard on a phone. I loved my old Motorola Droids and they were some of the best phones I used with the slide out full sized keyboard. Hopefully these will make a come back one day.

Just updated manually to the December Security Patch.

Lots of new features, now if you take a photo normally, it goes to your gallery but if you take it with the space bar which is the fingerprint scanner, it puts it in. A secret locker which has a separate set of docs, pics, bids, etc. That only joo can access.

It now also has a built in fine manager so no need for any 3rd party app for that.

The radio signal has improved, I wasn't on WiFi when I did this test just 4G+

That's amazing speed from etisalat. On mobile data, my speed 1/100th of your speed and on FIOS my speed is 1/10th.
Is that speed during peak hours?

When I checked my phone, I got a different message saying "Yes my friend".
That ping is really low wheras mine is above 120ms on mobile data since I rarely get full H+/LTE in my locality.
On my FIOS it 19ms. Yours will be way better, around 5-10ms.

The customization on this phone is out of this world.

Everytime I change something, another new setting appears.

Also I managed to get a dual Danish and English keyboard going, with the additional ability to use a phonetic Russian keyboard.
