Turns out the Pixel Visual Core wasn't the only unmentioned hardware inside the Pixel 2. There's also a tamper-resistant hardware security module, made to one-up the purely software based secure environment introduced in Nougat.

Pixel 2 issues continue with random rebooting. What a botched launch.

Yep pretty sad, too many problems with the Pixel 2 and XL to purchase... these problems shouldn't exist

killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
Typical LG lol. Though I'm not sure who makes ordinary Pixel 2.Vasudev likes this. -
HTC does, and Samsung makes the display. HTC was originally going to make both phones, but "muskie" became the U11+ instead of the Pixel 2 XL.killkenny1 and Vasudev like this.

I considered the 2 XL, and am fortunate I did not purchase it.

I purchased the 2 XL and I was fortunate to have done so.
1. It's much better than the XL I traded in for it.
2. I got full trade in of $410 for the XL.
3. I'm getting a free Home - mini
4. I have none of the issues reported, with the exception of the blue tint screen - which I really don't notice as I normally don't view the screen at the angles where it shows up. -
It’s happening on the HTC-made Pixel 2 non-XL as well, though. This issue can’t be blamed on LG.
