HTC does, and Samsung makes the display. HTC was originally going to make both phones, but "muskie" became the U11+ instead of the Pixel 2 XL.

I considered the 2 XL, and am fortunate I did not purchase it.

I purchased the 2 XL and I was fortunate to have done so.
    1. It's much better than the XL I traded in for it.
    2. I got full trade in of $410 for the XL.
    3. I'm getting a free Home - mini
    4. I have none of the issues reported, with the exception of the blue tint screen - which I really don't notice as I normally don't view the screen at the angles where it shows up.

It’s happening on the HTC-made Pixel 2 non-XL as well, though. This issue can’t be blamed on LG.
