The M2 finally came today after a bit over 2 weeks of waiting. Got it out of the box and was playing with it, saw a few dirty spots on the screen and wiped em off. But there is one decent size spot that won't wipe off as dirt. The thing is a circle maybe 2-3mm wide that is just dim. WTF. Can't I get anything that isn't broken?

It also has a dead pixel on the very right bottem edge.. but that isn't a big problem.
Toshiba will take the return but now they won't pay return shipping because it isn't a defect, they say it is a blemish. Sadly, I won't be going with Toshiba again unless I find a local retailer of the business line, and it accepts returns. This really sucks. -
Doesn't Toshiba have a 30day return policy on their notebooks like HP? If you have a local authorized Toshiba service center in your area, see if they'll replace the LCD for you. They can report it to Toshiba as an intermittent problem and still get paid for the repair. Win-Win situation.

They are allowing me to return it, but I now have to pay return shipping because dim spots and dead pixels "aren't defective" but are blemishes. Total BS. I just gave up on them and bought a HP iPaq and done with the idea of buying a laptop until some new stuff comes out. I did get enough images and a video clip to do a nice review of the M2 though.
M2 came, sadly, it won't stay
