What is the simplest way to get StrottleStop to start up with Windows before user login but to not load during safe mode? I'm not advanced skilled in registry editing so I will need detailed guids (include links). I know of the Task Schedule method but if set to start with system I loose control in task bar (system tray) area.

    Thanx in advance!!!

Does someone with a Qosimo x300/x305 and a 9700m GTS which has no problem (no regular black screen crash) could try to use GPU-Z in order to extract its Bios and post it here ?

It could be very helpfull. Thank you ^.^

It does look cool my friend. I wonder if I should paint my Qosmio matt black. How is the red lights with this over? Able to see? And what about the touch buttons? And touchpad?

BIOS's on our X300/305 is not readable :( Atleast not on Intel chipsets.

Ur correct I can read the 9800m gts bios and save it! I used not to be able to do that but just tested it and it works! 9400m (integrated) is not readable though!

Still don't know if I like the new design of ur qosmio x300 though! It looks good but not sure if its better than the original one! No lights is a minus for me and ur touch buttons dont show up! Moreover can we see the screen round? How did u apply that carbon fiber on ur speakers?

    With GPU-Z?

I wonder as well of the screen looks like. I might as I said go for the matt black color with red lights and if we can get the backlit keyboard working I'll turn that into red as well. That would look smooth x40

Yes with gpu z. I remember it could not retrieve it before. Don't know if it's the new gpu z or the newer version of bios that I installed. (can read and save both 9800m GTS but not the integrated 9400m). Btw we might be able to install a 1080p display in the qosmio x300 if we use the f50 inverter. I believe they are the same! Bt we still need to find a screen that fits the x300 with that resolution!

Only requirement is mostly the 17 inch, all the screws are universal on the size.

U told us though that u had problem with the resolution when u changed the screen! So if we try to install a 1920 x 1200 res screen in qosmio x300 we might have the same problem..

When i said about the size i meant the SIZE of the frame of the LCD, thats the
question some one said, if its 17 inch its the same screw sizes etc.

Now about the cable no idea, only thing i know is how to get 1440x900 work
    as native res.

Sc2 gives like shader artifacts when the sli mode is enabled. The effects shown are the same as the furmark shader artifacts: YouTube - FurMark Artifacts - Shader Overclock but both gpus stay at 65c no overclock. When sli is disabled and single gpu is selected in manage 3d it can go up to 75c but no artifacts or slow downs.. It makes no sense! If anyone finds a solution or at least a theory I would be eager to hear about it!

Tested both gpus under furmark. No problems at all. I run it for 60min under 1680x1050 fullscreen 16x msaa and xtreme burning mode. After 15min the temps went up to 105c for my 1st gpu and 92c on my 2nd gpu and stayed constant ( well 104-105 and 90-92) during the 60min test. So I believe those are good tests since there is no game that can stress more a gpu! Btw I did not use my notebook cooler. After testing it with the cooler for 20min I found out that there was only 1c difference which is not worth! I used to believe that the nzxt cryo cooler kept my laptop cool bt actually it does nearly nothing.. Strange again is the 10c difference between the 2 gpus. Its same gpus on the same heatsink same cooling paste! Any ideas? (BTW the room is quite hot 25-27c bt again 105c isn't it too much for a 9800m gts? Even though it stays stable throughout the test?) Idle temps are 45 on each.

    Got warranty?
If not, then open it up and new termal paste, and some clean up on the heatsinks.

I did it on myne today, because i got a new ES Extreme processor, with
unlocked multipliers and my temps gone down a bit.

My cpu never goes above 85c. Well now I am at uni no tools (even screw driver), but I will open it up in a month when I go back home if it will help. How much do u get in furmark for ur gpus? Games never gave me any temps aboce 80c.

Hello all again, i got a new LED 1440x900 screen, that doenst use the inverter hehe, it goes directly, got it working but with the problem of the resolution.

Now the big issue, my friend is gone from the country and now i dont have
how to check the pin out again, will ask again, if some one that doenst
have warranty on hes qosmio x305 (with 1440x900) coul pls post a clear
picture of the pins on the conector that goes into the LCD board.

    Example:

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Im willing to pay by paypal, or buying some steam game or something,
for the one who sends me the clear picture, so i know wich pins i have
    to tape out.

Seeing as you have already taped off the pins from the old ribbon, could you use this: http://tim.id.au/laptops/toshiba/qosmio x300.pdf and page 227? (Has pinout for the screen)

Also, where is it getting the power if it doesn't use the inverter? And which screen did you get? Price?

I'd take a picture of mine but atm its my only laptop, being used for uni work, cos my Qosmio G40 STILL has not been repaired. (Over 2 months now)

I dont understand the manual stuff, with the pins etc.

My cable is 30 pins, but when i changed screens i undo'd de taped pins (i taped it with tape) now i dont remember how they were before
thats why i need some one with a LCD on a qosmio x305 that have 1440x900
to take a picture of it, so i know wich ones i need to tape.

    Cumps

check my post, i need to see the golden connectors, that connect on the lcd board.

So i know wich connectors to tape out, on mine to match yours.

On my post you can see some examples.

You will need to open the screen itself, basicly for my request you wouldnt even need to open the computer, only take
apart the 6 screws on the screen frame, take the 6 ones inside and take apart the back panel, and disconect the cabble
so you can take the picture of the conectors.

CHECK HERE: (this is an example and not the real one)
I need to see wich pins are with gold metal contacts, and the ones that are empty, from a 1440x900
    qosmio screen.

Hah no problem. How could you tell that mine is 1440x900?

And where did you get your LED screen from? Its something I've been thinking of doing. And what about brightness control with the LED? Also, are the plugs universal? Or are you using the stock toshiba one and taping off the pins?

I got the original 1680x1050 screen, then got hold of a 1440x900 that i connected using the same pin out of the x305 that had a 1440x900
but now when i got the new LED i complety forgot to take a pic of the ribon with the proper pins taped.

The LED backlit is directly iluminated by the same inverter of the normal LCD.
    Same goes for the control.

(yes using the stock lcd cable one)
