    Hi guys,

I encounter a problem with my X200 : ths gpu is not giving his full potential under vista : i lost about 30% of the basic perf. Normally some games are running at a certain amount of fps, quite the same as under xp, but most of the time, they run with 30% less fps. It's as if I wasn't under the performance profile of vista, as if I was under the save power, but a little bit better. This happens with every driver i've tried and even when the laptop is cold.

If anyone as an idea which could help me, I thank you in advance,

    Cojy

I connected x205-9359 to my 1080p projector with the HDMI cable and, on the Display settings in Control Panel, the highest resolution I can see is something like (1600x1200).

How can you set it up for 1080p (1920x1080) resolution?

    Thanks,

Oh yeah, I'm in need of your expert opinion folks. Should I downgrade to XP? Has anyone seen any major improvements of Vista??

i would not downgrade to Vista at this point... they've ironed out a lot of the compatibility issues and problems, and performance is just fine. I was running XP for a while on mine, but went back to Vista and life is good

i am actually running current games with my sli1 using the 169.09 drivers at 1080p with vista and xp as i have a dual install. the games run better on xp in my opinion.....

and i am running at max settings with the games. i am currently playing warhammer online with max settings and with no problems at 1080p on my 47" toshiba regza lcd. i only lose a frame or two during huge RvR raids and i think i just need updated drivers......

HOWEVER, with sli enabled the framerate goes to crap, so i leave it off.....
