Looking for CMOS battery for my new M34, also set of disc's for Win2k.

Is this a coin type battery with wires going to a small 2 pin connector? If it is, then it's the same as most Toughbooks.
I should have several used ones.
Post a quick photo if you can.
Are you looking for recovery disks or just win 2000 install disks?

Yes Shawn I was looking for recovery disc's. The CMOS battery are as you say but for some reason they have a 3pin plug and only use 2 of the pins. I think it is because the speaker socket is next to the CMOS socket and that is a 2 pin one, so it would stop you mixing them up, not sure but its a thought. Bob.

I always use ordinary CR2025 3v coin batteries. for replacing them, i remove the yellow plastic of the original CMOS battery. Then i put the 2 connecting metal plates on both sides and then stick it nice with some plastic issolation tape. 10 CR2025 cost about 1 euro in holland. It takes about 5 minutes or so, to do this.

That sounds like a good idea, the new batterys and connectors will be here soon, I will try this out with one of the batterys. 20 batterys $4.75 and free shipping. Still looking for the three pin plugs though as one computer was missing the battery.
