What do you all use for carrying your TZ around?

I'm looking for a nice small laptop bag for my TZ. Most laptop bags out there are way too big for the TZ which kind of defeats the purpose of having such a small laptop. Any ideas?

I picked up a VGP-CKTZ2/B from ebay the other day. It's made for the TZ and fits perfectly. It's looks and smells quite nice. :D If I am going to be carrying more I just slip the case inside of my backpack.

Thanks for your replies. I saw those cases on the local sony site as well, but I don't think they come with shoulder straps sadly enough.

That's what I ordered with similar thoughts. It looks quite sexy on their website.

That was on my short list, but, because I opted for the extended battery, I could not use it.

It just arrived today from conics this leather cover. Is simply beatiful. Ease to attach, protects the TZ from scratches and is so elegant. I already have the VGP-CKTZ2/B and it fits inside there also with the cover. The only negative thing is that in the instructions they write that better if you dont take it out often because the gel will deteriorate and it will not stuck on the surface. But i doubt that you want to take out such a beauty...

Where do you live and how much did it cost you? How long did it take?

    thanks

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but are you saying that the TZ with a VGP-CVT1/T on it fits inside the VGP-CKTZ2? Does that mean that the there's a lot of room inside the VGP-CKTZ2? How well does the TZ fit in the CKTZ2 without the CVT1?

I live in Italy PhilFlow and i oredered it together with the TZ from Conics. I took three cases ( Case: VGP-CKTZ1/H & CVT1/T & CKTZ2/B). All together cost me 150 euros. If you take them separately is much more, specially in Europe.

For jc4ho: Yes, exactly. The TZ with the leather cover (VGP-CVT1/T) fits just good in the case (VGP-CKTZ2). Without the cover fits perfectly, don't worry. The leather cover it make TZ just a little bigger.

I looked at the dimensions of the case, but, just to confirm, the VGP-CKTZ2 is smaller than A4 size and will not fit a piece of paper in it?

Nice deal! Is that including shipping?

How well does VGP-CKTZ2/B protect? Does it protect against pressure?

    thanks again

Here are some nice pictures of VGP-CKTZ2! I might have to get one

ANYONE KNOW a GOOD shoulder-bag for Sony TZ ???
I am not talking about those 'ugly' black color, with some fat-ness in it. After all, its TZ !, I havent find any good shoulder-bag for TZ...

Im now thinking of shopping around for some should-bags at the outlet stores... I guess as long as the bags are nice and not-ugly, it should do.

If you're open to brands other than Sony, the following sites might be of interest:

    Kolobags
Use "koloparis" for a 10% discount on any order over $50, valid through the end of August

    Luna Boston
Use "luckybreaks3" for a 25% discount, should be valid through the end of September

If you like a sleeve a lot, why not sow on your own clips and buy a strap?

Yeah i really like that small one. Not the others though.

I would be a bit worried because a bag like that has no protection in it ( i think). And since I'm walking around with 2500$ laptop some protection would be nice.

Number 1 notebook killer: pressure!. It's not covered by warranty.

    Size: Small: W32 x H29 x D9, (13”x11.5”x 3.5” ;) does that fit TZ nicely?

after owning the white macbook and used the shinza zero shock, I have to say I'd go with another sleeve. The shinza turned my white macbook to have these black dots all around permanently due to the foam pattern inside the sleeve.

OK, good to know that. My TZ will be black so then it would not be an issue maybe?

What about overal protection of the Zero shock, how do you rate it? is it much more tha a sleeve?

I have the zeroshock III for my txn-15p which I will use with my new TZ coming at the end of the month. I do not see any black marks or anything but maybe cause my notebook is black.

The protection of it is excellent because it slowly compresses and there is about an inch top and bottom of foam. I got my sleeve off of ebay.

well still knowing even if its black that there are smudges on there still tainting the notebook and especially the nice carbon fiber, i'd go with something else

I just purchased this bag yesterday. It was only $40 US. It seems very well built. There were smaller bags to choose from, but they started to look too feminine.

This one that they designed for Sony is tempting, even at that price. Considering I purchased a TZ, I am prepaired to pay for a nice, functional bag.
