Sorry, I should have followed all the instructions.
I assumed because my system was already in test mode it would be fine, i registered the files and all is well.
    Thanks.

I am running 263.14 and they seem to run great (somewhat similar to many of the other new drivers).

There are new 261.xx drivers too but not sure how they are running.

not one confirmed whether the inf have the same line.

    edit:
    Nvidia 26099 - Intel 2246 to Nvidia 26314 - Intel 2253
from Nvidia 26099 to Nvidia 26314 no line difference
from Intel 2246 to Intel 2253 the only differences is 2253 add support for all new intel sandy bridge gpu

    my testing package contain:
    Nvidia 26314 driver
    Intel 2253 driver
    Nvidia 26130's nvBridge_int.kmd, nvtmmhyb.dll, nvdisp_IH.nvu.
    my modified inf.

    test result:
    cuda error still exist.
    higher score for gpgpu.
    no more artifact at startup.
    dpc latency result is worse.

wait, so I just replace the "driver" folder in the 263.00 with the one from the 263.14, run the installer and everything works?

Not entirely. There are certain driver files in that folder you need to copy over. But as a concept yes.

if you just want to install 263.14 with 2253
    download 263.14
download 2253 and take everything except "langs" folder, the ".inf" and the ".cat"
take the nvbridge_int.km_ or nvbridge_int.kmd from somewhere else
take nautis or thomaskc.dk's latest inf.
    then you can install

note: becareful when you take the inf, make sure you get Intel >= 2246, if it is below then you should not download 2253 as it have a lot of differences.

26099 2226 inf can be use to install 26314 2226
26099 2246 inf can be use to install 26314 2253

note2: if nautis or thomaskc.dk's inf is not nv_disp.inf then you should change it to nv_disp.inf and replace the nvidia original one. please make sure you never remove nvbridge.kmd or any other file because it will cause error.

driver for 265.xx > are not tested yet but i will give another try. :D

    edit:
    1. installed successfully with black screen in the end of installation, so it is not signed yet.
    2. restart
    3. driver not working
    4. reinstall, sign.
    5. nvidia works
    6. switching to intel works
    7. switching back to nvidia didn't works
    8. restart with speed as option
    9. nvidia not detected
    10. uninstalled, back to 26314 2253.

    what is bad?
the driver removed a lot of things from 26314. i modified all properly but...
back to nvidia / intel side not working properly.
now i am using its audio driver. :D

Thomaskc.dk, Dont tease! We unskilled modders would love a hybrid version of that driver!

I have looked into modding my bios. However, after just switching back from Mac after the last 7 years, it looks to be more than I think I should takle.

Sorry all, back from 12 day holiday vacation. Gonna take a look at some of these new drivers. The 265 drivers I tested thus far have been flaky with switching hopefully these new ones will have it fixed. Glad to see you guys still tackling things.

Any more luck on this? The one you have on the main page works fine switching from the speed to stamina but then is stuck there afterwards. Thanks for the efforts as always

i installed the nvidia 263 version about 3 weeks ago and i noticed that my vpcz started occasionally crashing while playing videos in media player.
normal crashing i wouldn't complain about- but this makes the entire computer lock up.
it also makes the last sound coming through the speakers to be "constant".
theres nothing i can do other than cut the power with the power button hold.
    did anyone else experience this?
should i downgrade to the 260.63 version?
    thanks

That's not a videocard driver issue (that just ''crashes''. I had those problems with network card driver issues (the constant tone hanging).

    Hi,
First of all: Amazing job. I will try 3d vision and PhysX as soon as I can.

I have a couple of suggestions:

    - Just to avoid disappointing black screens to users, I suggest to add on the first page, in the instructions on point N. Something like:
    4)....
    5) put on "speed" the graphic switch of the laptop.
    6)....

    - I also suggest to put the known issues section, yopu know, like CUDA doesn't work properly or stuff like this

    Cheers

CUDA works like a charm when you boot in SPEED mode. If you switch to stamina and back to speed, gpu-z states that cuda and physx wont be reloaded again.

I don't have all the problems you mentioned above with the latest intel 151712.
In addition, I have it working perfectly with my vaio vpcz12 series.

Is Nvidia 263.09 + Intel 2266 stable ? does the switching work etc? I can see that there's not much of an update on the nvidia side; perhaps this handles cuda better when switching.

Edit : Just tested it, seems to install fine. Both Nvidia and intel work well switching both ways. Havn't tried any video intensive apps yet but this build looks stable. Thanks Kamiteo ! Cuda still doesn't work after switching to intel and back

What I would do is :
    - switch your computer to speed mode
    - Download the original drivers from sony (look on the first post for url)
    - Go to add-remove software and remove all of the instances of nvidia (depending on your install, it should be nvidia physx, nvidia Nview, nvidia HD audio driver, Nvidia graphics driver). Reboot if requested after each install
    - reboot after all have been ininstalled.
    - at this point, your system should have automatically installed default windows drivers for nvidia and intel cards
    - run the exeucutable you downloaded from sony to reinstall the original drivers

at that time the latest leaked release from intel is 2253 now it is 2272 XD

    edit:
    26635 2272:
    no comment testing!

it seems 2272 not working properly

    26314 2266
is the best combination for now

For something like that, you could try defrag, or it could even be caused by the simultaneous loading of files from hard drive.

    Hi,
I tried to search in forum, but I didn't find any topic about...
I know that some of you just overclocked his VPCZ gpu.
Did you just put default 330m configuration or you try true overclocking? If so, did you take some overheating tests? Which kind of configurations are stable?

    cheers

Hi guys, just letting you know that I still do follow things in here.

I am personally running with the new 266.58 on win7 x64 without any problems.

However! I am running with a hacked bios and the intel gpu disabled. That is way I haven't posted any new hybrid drivers lately.

If anyone else is running discreet only (Nvidia gpu only) and wants the new drivers let me know. cheers.

How's battery life? About half? (since mine gets ~10W in Intel and ~20W on nVidia in idle)
    Anyway, I'm still using drivers from the M11x R1. (197.72 :/)

That said, I rarely use my laptop on battery. Just use the Intel GPU to silence my laptop's fan.

I never user my laptop on battery, so I wouldn't know. It functions as a portable workstation for me so at the moment at least I have 0 use for the Intel gpu, which is why I have disabled it just to updating things easier.

Yup, exactly, Ive got no problems.

    @Andrew08:

I at the moment im just reusing an older inf (260.99 or which ever inf I used for the last driver set that had the same structure.) It all works like a charm though, everything installs the latest versions and so forth.
