Sony Style in Markham, Ontario "estimated" March 12th (when I called on the 10th). I was told they'd call me when they came in, but nothing today.

I think some stores have gotten i5s for 2 weeks now.
-
Sony Canada only seems to be selling a single prebuilt model, a bottom-of-the line configuration with i5. Everything else seems to be CTO.

Note I said sales guy. -
Due to weather delays , I believe I will not see my Z until maybe Monday.

I just received an email from SonyStyle that my laptop, VPCZ11DGX/SJ (Metal Mosaic Signature Series) just shipped today. That means I'll be getting mine next week.
I have to say, I'm pretty excited about this. -

I managed to get 5% discount and an extra 1 year warranty which I thought wasnt bad. The estimated shipping time is 5-6 weeks (I hope this is worse case scenario)
Up to the point of ordering I still hasnt sure of a couple of things:
1) To pay the extra £110 for the Core i7 620m I have scoured the internet to try and find charts or reviews regarding the performance difference and I managed to get a few saying the difference is tiny but nothing difinitive. Can anyone confirm this?
2) SDD or HDD - This was a big headache as I was worried about the SDD degradation issue but I was not happy the HDD version had no DVD drive. In the end I decided on SDD and the hefty upgrade hoping that some genius can resolve the degradation problem with some clever software that allowed TRIM in RAID.
3) 1600 x 900 or 1900 x 1080 screen. I had a Alienware M15m with 1080p screen and the text was really small and often hard to read some websites and emails. I decided the 1080p screen again because I heard good things about Windows 7 text enlarging function and that UK was only one of the few places that allows the upgrade for £50.
Any how I hope I have made good choices on specs if anyone has an opinion please let me know.
Also I am going to probably upgrade to 8gm RAM through Kingston or Crucial when I get it but not sure if it is worth it. Does anyone know if there is a significant performance difference between 4/6/8 gbs of RAM?
Thanks -

Mine's out for delivery in the UK today, which is a shame, because the person that was going to bring it over here for me is already here. Now I'll have to pay to get it shipped here. :'(
Post your i7/i5 Sony Z pre-orders here
