    Hey everyone,

I just finished getting my new S460 set up, and I really love the computer.

I also own the the new (PRS2?) docking station for the S460 with the DVI out connection. I connected my S460 via the DVI connection to the DVI connection of my new 27" LCD HDTV.

Some of the PC resolution settings that the HDTV can display are:

    1280 x 720 @ 60Hz (Reccomended)
    1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz, 75Hz
    1280 x 768 @ 60Hz
    1024 x 768 @ 60Hz, 75Hz

Seeing that the best compatible display that the Nvidia 6200 can use with the HDTV is 1280 x 768 @60Hz, how the heck do I get it do use that setting???

I tried playing with it last night and this morning with no success. The highest resolution that the Nividia settings seem to let me push to the external display is 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz. My LCD HDTV is capable of more but I dont know what Im doing wrong. I tried all three modes too, Single, Clone, and Dual View and it just won't go above 1024.

Any and all info is TRULY appreciated!

Thank you in advance for all your help!

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/ this forum will have any info you need for htpc setups and proper resolutions and how to tweak to work with your tv. i would also download powerstrip it will allow you to make custom resolutions to work with your tv the best. this is where i went to get my my media center pc to work with my hdtv and it took alot of reading but i figured everything out. The home theatre computer section should have some info you are looking for if not just make a post.
