    Hi all,

I've been wondering if anyone else has noticed a mesh of parallel faint diagonal "lines" on their screen during movement. By movement I mean either changing your view of the screen, physically moving the laptop (e.g. tilting it back and forth), or motion being displayed on the screen itself. Just staring at the screen without any movement does not cause these lines to appear. I put "lines" in quotation marks because they are not actual lines rendered to the screen; instead the effect is more of an optical effect.

I am thinking it is a limitation of the refresh rate, as decreasing the refresh from 60 to 40 seems to make the "lines" more noticeable. Seems to appear under both intel and nvidia graphics, and under all resolutions. I have seen this at least on one other SZ6 besides my own, so I am wondering if any one else has this issue.

    Thanks.

*Update* Just saw this post after I made this one: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=155022

If this is an actual defect of the screen do you think Sony would fix it if I sent it in?
