    I was recently in england and visited a sony store (awesome) i live in the states and i saw that their sonys had what looked like an Object Dock or Stardock type icon dock at the top of the screen. It seemed to be only on sonys. Does anyone know what this is and if it is possible to load it onto a sony laptop in the states.

    It's called Vaio Gate. This is a functionnal dock, but not as good as objectdock (very limited configuration...).

    It seems quite useless for me, I have removed mine because it gets annoying when I want to move the maximized window around and the Vaio Gate pops out instead.
