WARNING! : CURRENTLY THE BIOS MOD IS NOT SUPPORTED FOR WINDOWS 8 MODEL OF VAIO S YET!
This thread is about BIOS MOD for the GT640M LE.
STOCK BIOS used for this test :
R0142C5
STOCK BIOS Source :
Sony eSupport - SVS13A15GDB - Drivers & Software
BIOS Compatibility : Please check the MD5 Checksum of your model BIOS and make sure it is the same as above.
By right it should be able to work on all of the S 2012 series. Just do a check to get a peace of mind.
What does it do?

The disclaimer (copied and modified from
http://forum.notebookreview.com/sony/641671-sony-vaio-sa-sb-sc-se-advanced-menu-bios-hack.html ) :
There is no warranty or support at all. Don't use this if you are unexperienced with computers. All you do with this BIOS is on your own risk! Flashing is a dangerous process. Make backups of your data. Your warranty may void with flashing this hack. All settings in BIOS get stored in the flash rom. Disconnecting the RTC battery will NOT reset the BIOS settings since they are non-volatile. If you fail, there is no return since BIOS recovery is unavailable to new sony laptops.
The only thing changed from the BIOS is only on the GT640M LE, the rest remain.
BUT STILL, PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND TAKE OWN RESPONSIBILITY!
PROCEDURE :
-Unzip the downloaded file.
-Run the InsydeFlash file.
-WAIT until it finishes flashing!
-Restart your laptop.
-Have fun!
ADDITIONAL INFO 1 : You may experience that when you run benchmark, games, or any application, but your Clock seems to be not at par as the Base clock. Please follow the instructions Make sure you set to priority to ventilation : AND : Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3d Settings -> Select the app you want to run full clock -> Select high performance nvidia processor on the option 2 -> Select Prefer Maximum Performance for the Power management mode. OR Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3d Settings -> Global Settings -> Select Prefer Maximum Performance for the Power management mode. Now, all the app should run in Maximum clock. You should be able to run at full clock afterwards. ADDITIONAL INFO 2: Currently there is a bug with GPU-Z, it will make your clock stays at FULL even when not doing anything(gaming, benchmark, etc). The only way for your clock to stay or goes back to idle(135) is by closing the GPU-Z when not using it OR open up MSI AB at the same time if you want the GPU-Z to remain in the background. This will definitely saves your battery when you're not plugged in. Proof and Explanation : http://forum.notebookreview.com/8718963-post184.html

Previously while waiting for svl7 to comeout with the link, I myself have created my own BIOS MOD.
Like Modder(SVL7), I only changed the Clock for GPU and Memory, no voltage.
Stock Core Clock and Memory clock is 500MHz Core, 900MHz Memory.
