    Hi

I've almost decided to buy a new Sony Vaio VPC EA2 Notebook.

What I'd like to know before I buy, but couldn't find out is whether the 2 memory slots are both accessible from the bottom of the notebook, or if only one slot is accessible and the second is hidden (e.g. under the keyboard) and not accessible to "normal" users. The reason i wand to know this is that I'm planning to upgrade to 8GB as soon as possible. The Manuals avaiblable online from Sony don't help which such details unfortunately.

Does anyone know? Maybe a owner of an EA1 or EA2?

    Thanks a lot, Markus

Most all modern notebooks are stacked. So one will be right under the other, or will be right beside the other. The only notebook I've ever had that was different was an iBook, where 128MB of RAM was not accessible without full disassembly.
