^ Yea, may be this is a lesson, we should get the refreshed model instead of initial model, back then the owner z117gg won't be so disappointed, the difference is just a carbon lid, if the z22 refresh had a gen 3 ssd, than I will be very very disappointed, knowing I already paid so much to get this one

Your right. In my model is a ssd gen2 but it´s ok for me. Better CPU is also no problem. For me the only hope is also a new ATI/Intel driver preinstalled, which i can grab from the download section and install.

Sony refreshed the series very soon, so i think this i s normal process.

hopefully Z22 won't be more expensive than they currently are...
They dared to do the same with the VPC-Z1, luckily I could buy the first generation of VPC-Z1. For Z12 or Z13, same laptop, 500€ more expensive...
Sony isn't healthy... I hope they won't repeat such a price mistake.
I hope this is not the last Z, but it could be.

Yes, probably by the end of the month. However, it won't be much different than the Z21. A minor processor update is likely to be the only change. I'm hoping for better drivers, but with Sony that may be a ridiculous hope.
