This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Based on the following link, the Vaio TZ will have to include the Santa Rosa platform to keep up with the rest of the competitors' future notebooks. It looks like the Montevina platform or the Penryn processor in ULV form will not be available anytime soon.

    When are they going to announce the bloody thing for the US? Manual and everything but no lappy!

    I wonder what specs and prices the U.S will have, looks like the 160gb hard drive is exclusive to Japan though.
