Switched from RocketDock to ObjectDock again because RocketDock's Stack Docklet doesnt work usually after changing the screen resolution or plugging an external display :|

Here is my latest desktop, my inspiration was based on the performance of xp but with the eye candy of Vista. So what i did was incorporated things I liked from Vista like the aeropeak,and the icons on the taskbar *from windows 7* and the icons with the stability of xp.

The reason why I used a black wallpaper and theme was because my LCD screen is bright this helps round out the colours and makes it more appealing to the viewer.

What I really liked about the theme itself was the slim polished tashbar

Yeah, the wallpaper matches perfectly although personally I'd prefer a little bit more color.

 

No Windows DreamScene backgrounds?

 

Actually i do have dreamscene backgrounds xD they are swf files and they work really well . You just basicaly save the swf it will play

its xp with alot of cloned vista powertoys

 

it is the good way to put the desktop .
my computer desktop has the simple as the windows xp have.
it depends n you which type desktop you want.

dock = objectdock plus
clock and system stats = edited 10 foot hud and conky rainmeter skins
wallpaper = a lightening storm caused by a volcanic eruption

I like the docks. What's that in the wallpaper?

 

Sadly a picture can't capture the colors. There are a lot of colors and effects that go off when preforming certain tasks..

(I did not create any of this btw, I just use it because I really like it...)

 

If the question was for me...the thing in the wallpaper is supposedly a grim reaper...

 

I just finished making a vertical time config for rainmeter, quite pleased with it acutally. Needs to be about half the size it is now and some bits need cleaning up, but overall its there. hours-mins-secs in case it makes no sense.

Yes it is Window Blinds, and no actually I am using XP. (The theme also works in Vista though with slight changes.)

Turned off ObjectDock :|. Will be uploading the icons in the future though . Decided to go back to simplicity .
