I'm really enjoying Windows 7 so far, it's a huge improvement over Vista.

maksin01, do you mind thumbnailing your image? It's really big; I shouldn't have to scroll on a WSXGA+ screen. See the first post for the "rules" please. Thanks. :)

I like to keep mine as clean as humanly possible, no icons on desktop, only programs i use on a daily basis on the dock, no pinned items on the task bar.

also i have 7 different scenic pictures in a slide show for my wallpaper. this is just the one i chose to show.

There are a lot of nice looking desktops on here. Why don't you guys get rid of the watermark for Build 7100 - Evaluation on bottom right, it would look much better. :)

Link for an auto-script that worked perfectly on both the 32 and 64 bit RC build. Took 30 seconds, a reboot and it's all gone permanently.

I don't really spend much time looking at my desktop so it doesn't really matter to me.

Here's my Windows 7 with the Prowler (Wincustomize) theme with an animated wallpaper glowing blue behind the hexes. Gotta have the CPU and network gadgets to keep an eye on things. Windows 7 Snip2.PNG
Just click on it for a better view.

can someone post a picture of a maximized window?
i patched my uxtheme on vista because i hated how the taskbar would lose transparency when windows were maximized, and i'm wondering if win7 does the same thing
