This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Update: I just checked my update log for SP1 and it was drivers, drivers, drivers. Drivers for AMD, a ton of drivers for USB device, and some other assorted ones. I guess that might be where the speed comes from.

    Reliability monitor. Enter it in the menu search and click reliability monitor in the sidebar menu and go to the date you installed SP1.
