In the past, Norton products have always gone on sale for $0.00 at Fry's after rebate - the lowest I've seen Norton Internet Security 2010 go so far is $9.99, but Im sure $0.00 is coming... until then, 135 days left on my license ;)

So yeah, Norton Internet Security 2010 here, on Vista, but I plan to install it once I move to Win7 Professional soon.

I'm using NIS 2010 on Win7 Professional x64 at the moment. I have 200+ days left. Once that is over, it's MSE for me.

In the old days not long ago all I had was ZoneAlarm and was careful to not click pop-ups. I had a only virus once in a 4-5 year timespan.

I currently use AVG Free Version. Am pretty happy. I would consider paying for the same if they were to offer it for 10-15 bucks.

    As others have mentioned...

You guys should really check out Microsoft Security Essentials. I'm using it on both my Win7 Pro boxes and its been very good detecting a few threats quickly and not letting it infiltrate the pc. It's also light on the resources and is an MS product so it integrates with Win7 very well. Also includes a spyware/anti-malware engine and disables Windows Defender.

Best of all it's FREE forever as long as you own a valid Windows license.

I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. It has a good detection rate and is light on my system ressources (4MB with 32bits version).

I used to have Avast, but I switched to Kaspersky after Avast failed to detect a virus contained in a usb drive which Kaspersky detected in another computer. I felt less secure and more vulnerable after this incident and it got me thinking about getting a new antivirus.

I have no idea my friend, it was someone's else drive.

I forgot to mention that I use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware in parallel with Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, they work good together and do not conflict with each other.
