I don't cheat in online games and am entirely against it, although using glitches and exploits and "Clever use of game mechanics" I am not against, however in single player games I love to be able to use cheats if I want. Stuff like the old GTA trainers to allow you to spawn things live in game and have whole cheat menus you could open from within the game and not having to do anything else. It worries me, at one point do they draw the line. Are they already checking even for single player games and do I need to worry about my access to games I own and have purchased being removed because I used trainers or "cheats or hacks" while playing a single player game myself? What about if I mod a game and I am using different textures and things in the game than what the game came with. What about if I am playing GTA V and I am using some mod or cheat playing by myself, do I get banned or lose access to playing the game multiplayer, or the game altogether? I hate where this is going and starting to think I may be better off going back to 7, although who knows how long it will be before they start adding all of this same stuff into 7. You think you are good and get a bloatware free version of Win 10, then they come out with an update and just add more things into it that need to be removed or blocked without saying anything. It seems impossible to keep up with everything they do. I have to question whether wanting to have support for DX12 is really worth being spied on 24/7 or not.

that's not an issue with this ISO. No one has ever experienced this. It's an issue with your laptop and/or drivers -
is this normal?
-
What part of that image in particular looks "not normal" to you? What's your question, exactly.
-
Its normal since the telemetry and other privacy related modules are removed, so you get that message. No need to worry.hmscott likes this.

The "Some settings are managed by your organization" message?
@Phoenix - Is there some kind of "faked domain" setup used to some kind of advantage in that build, so you can use the Global Settings to avoid some MS nastiness? So you can use the Group Policy Editor?Last edited: Oct 21, 2017Vasudev likes this. -

if there are no updates, then there are no updates. What do you expect?
On a side note, type winver in a command prompt and tell us the build that you're currently on
mine now says 16299.19 after 1 update was installed
If you wanna install it manually, then here's the file: http://download.windowsupdate.com/d..._5fb7d7bf32e79ea9debe8fb51af2a0c2e296e935.msu -
Or use Windows Update MiniTool

Instead of messing with Win 7 NVME setup, I tried win 10 1607 with Phoenix software page for windows iso downloader.
all updates installed, october 2017 security, etc etc. took me 3 hours last night. nvidia color settings are staying enforced on latest drivers (so it is indeed a redstone 2 and 3 issue regarding people that like to mess with gamma), shut upten is rock solid and bitdefender internet security 2018 and malwarebytes lifetime are keeping me secure.
after several tweaks, everything is rock solid and i have the colors i want. i unistalled xbox and store as well as everything else. 0% cpu usage any time i check task manager and everything is snappy.
i am never never upgrading. not even security updates. i have a solid and stable frame now. maybe in 2019 i will move from this, who knows. time to game, cheers mates!alexhawker, hmscott and Vasudev like this. -

Google drive as a password protected archive will do.

Uploading as of the moment. Phoenix if you have time please double check if I create the iso correctly. Thank you.Vasudev and Spartan@HIDevolution like this.

I appreciate the effort and I still intend to save the iso, I probably will never use it or any iso moving forward., 1607 after many tweaks is the most solid version of Win 10, I need none of the other fluff. Just sick of my color settings always getting messed up, and I no longer have to worry about that.Vasudev and Spartan@HIDevolution like this.

there's no way for me to check without installing it so....Vasudev likes this. -
The ISO will be fine since you just installed it yourself. Next time, always try the ISO in a VM.
-
oh.. didnt know that.. lol
the only thing that i am not sure is the process of converting it to iso file from the usb.. it was quite straight forward tho.. just wanted to be cautious to what i am sharing as i dont want to cause more problem to the people who might use it.. yeah its a working os inside the usb drive.. recently used it a week ago for my friend.. installed that version for him since i know it is more stable than the redstone 3.. -

I'll make an updated video on how to use the MSMG Toolkit once the next version is released which supports Redstone 3 better -

After installing this version, some games open to a black screen, but the game runs in the background. Anyone else faced this? I'm using a MSI GE63VR
-
Any idea where I can get the ISO for 1607? I clean installed 1709, so I cannot roll back. And is there anyway to carry out windows updates without updating the version of windows to 1709? Sorry I'm not very familiar with these stuff.

How to block Windows 10 Fall Creators Update from installingLast edited: Oct 23, 2017Vistar Shook, erosennin and Vasudev like this. -
Hey guys since installing the Fall update bloat free I've been having some big problems with temps where I'm getting over a 10c difference between cores at max temps. The only thing I've really have done is the clean install and added Oculus. Could the install be causing this?

You need 2 screenies showing before and after FCU update. To me, those temps seem normal.hmscott likes this.

Hi everyone. I am currently using @Phoenix bloatware free edition, latest one. I followed @Phoenix guide religiously. The video guide and the picture guide from windows 10 clean installation thread, comparing the two. I have zero problems as of the moment. My laptop is Alienware 17 r3, i7 6700hq, 970m 3gb and Bios 1.3.6. I would say try following @Phoenix guide religiously and you won't have a problem. Oh the only difference that i did was when installing the drivers. I didn't install the intel and nvidia graphic drivers right away. I let windows update install the graphics for me then once my OS is fully update I used O&O ShutUp10 to disable all windows update. From there I used DDU to uninstall the graphic driver which windows update installed. Then reinstall the graphic driver that I want from intel and nvidia. Hope this helps.
by the way @Phoenix on the latest bloatware free edition that you made .NET Framework 3.5(includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) is not integrated. I also had to get it from windows 10 update.
Hope this help guyz..erosennin likes this. -

You have just been added to my ignore list bro. You don't need to mention me thrice in the same post and for every post you make I have enough notifications to deal with. Anyone who over does it with this mentioning stuff is going to the ignore list. -
opss sorry.. i didnt know that.. you can ignore me.. i dont mind.. keep up the good work..
-
Unfortunately I don't have screenshots of before because I wasn't having any problems. But all my cores were within 1-2c of each other. Now I have a big temp difference.

Most likely Windoze 10’s New nasty feature “Power
Throttling”. Get rid of the Junk and your temp diff will be back where it was.

Its disabled on Ac power and only active on battery.Papusan likes this.

Then it’s the default Balanced power settings in Windoze X Fall Update. Nothing more has changed in Windoze who can make differences in temp between cores.Vasudev likes this.

THIS.. don't understand why microsoft is trying so hard to make a already great pc OS (windows 7) to a hybrid phone OS and pc OS(windows 10).. for a not well informed person like me/noob would have loads of issues with my computer if I didn't join this forum and be more informed and learned from the people here..
-
damn, I just format my OS to install this update, I like the temperature to be cool, but with this update it increases by a few degrees more
Vasudev likes this. -
Really? Maybe its not the OS? Maybe you need to change paste? or room temp changed? As of the moment the only issue that I have noticed with this update is right click on desktop context menu and it freezes, micro freezes here and there. Also I initially didn't notice the battery plan and the power mode slider causing my cpu to throttle down. Maybe I am just too noob to not notice the problems on my laptop. LOL.. In terms of temp, it didn't changed anything. My alienware 17 r3 with a 1 year and 1 month old gelid thermal paste still gives the same temp. 65 degree celcius max on PUBG and The witcher 3. Maybe its just me. ^_^Vasudev likes this.

Hoping tomorrow Coffee Lake gets in stock. Going to grab a non-k i7-8700 hopefully for $299.99 free ship no tax, pop my trusty old Noctua NH-D14 on it with the cheapest motherboard Z370 I can find ($120 so far), and I already got some ram lined up, 3200mhz 16gb (2x8gb) for $150. Will be re-using my PC case, heatsink, power supply, expensive Noctua fans (10 in total).
So hopefully... $570 free ship no tax, and $720 free ship no tax for a 1080 ti, and I will be re-using my trusty old 110hz overclocked 27" 1440p monitor for awhile. Should be able to max everything at that rez and refresh rate. Going to sell my laptop, I love it and all but I just can't game at 17.3" lol, I can for some genres, but FPS and even something like Witcher 3... just the immersion is ruined for me.
I am hoping I can sell my laptop for about 80% what I paid for it, oh and fyi, my full size atx motherboard and power supply will be fitting in a micro-atx case, custom
will post pictures in a few weeks when all done, depending on shipping times, etc. (I am never doing laptop again) the noctua is too big for the side panel, so i leave side panel off whenever I do this build, its a little janky looking but I don't care, I dust my babies about once every two months, so not even worried.
going to be retiring the 1440p qnix soon I hope... had it for almost 6 years now, it needs to die. its great and all, but i have seen 165hz ips 1440p and the colors are better slightly, and the overall experience. i can't decide if i want ultrawide 21:9, 4k 60hz (wait nm no ewww I can't stand 60hz anymore), well its settled.... my madness has decided to just get the 240hz 1440p 27" that come out next summer, assuming the colors don't suck, if they do i will refund it and just grab a cheap/used 165hz IPS 1440p.
I don't want to risk selling my laptop on Ebay to some scam buyer, does this website have a marketplace at all? be easier to sell to a highly rated/respected/active member of the community... I am hoping to get around $1100 for my sig rig laptop (storage not included).
cheers! and sorry for the off-topic post.

Anyone know where I can get the last windows verison bloatfree (I think 1703). With my temp difference problems I like to see if it's just the new version that's causing the problems.
