Awesome. Glad to hear you got it whipped.
They are making it intentionally difficult for W7 users to continue enjoying the only good version of Windows available today because W10 is an abject failure and the smartest folks continue to reject it. Dell is still selling new desktop and laptop PCs for business workstations with Windows 7 Pro.
FYI - You do not have to disable TPM in Device Manager. You can install the native driver for it in W7. Select the Unknown Device as "Security Device" manually and then the driver update wizard will show it to you as TPM 1.2. The driver support is built-in, just like W8 and W10. Many businesses still use W7 and TPM support is needed for Bitlocker. Many companies require it on their entire fleet. Or, even better, you can disable TPM in the BIOS if that option is available in your BIOS. Then you won't have to put up with it on any OS. I wish none of my systems had TPM. It's totally worthless to me, just like SGX crap.

Thanks bro and yes I said that I did disable TPM from the BIOS. What is it anyway I don't even have a fingerprint scanner in my laptop -
Biometrics is just one of the things it is used for. I do not have a fingerprint reader on the 16L13, but it still has Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Bitlocker drive encryption is probably the most common reason for it. Cool that you disabled it in the BIOS. Definitely the best way to nix it. The nomenclature in the BIOS may throw some off depending on the brand of notebook. Some identify it as TPM or Trusted Platform Module, which others identify it as "Security Device" (maybe so those that do not know what it is will leave it enabled). Those that cannot access this in their BIOS can manually install the W7 driver to get rid of the unknown device in Device Manager. It does not hurt anything, but for most of us it is one more useless thing that we would be better off without... just a waste of IRQ and motherboard resources supporting it.Last edited: Oct 16, 2017Papusan and Spartan@HIDevolution like this.

Still getting some serious lag with RS3. Totally disappointed with it already. Using Acer VN7-793G. Kaby Lake + Windows 7? Possible yet?
Mr. Fox likes this. -
Yes. It always has been possible. You just have to not install the Windows Updates that fake break it and tell you lies that Windows 7 and Kaby Lake are not compatible. This is total baloney. I have two Clevos and an MSI (in signature) with 7700K that run Windows 7 and it works flawlessly. Only use the Simplix Update Pack and disable automatic Windows Updates and you'll be golden.
@Phoenix how is yours working? -
If someone has Bloatware Free Edition 5.9 saved somewhere... please for the love of God give me a link. Windows 8 got hacked last night, I woke up to finding my mouse moving on its own... sigh... and RS3 is garbage I am not touching RS3 or RS4 or RS5, 5.9 is so solid even if I do have to use older nvidia drivers, fine by me...
-
What about intel hd drivers for kaby lake?
-
I have modded the .inf on the intel hd drivers to work with kaby lake in win 7. More info here;
http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...r-intel-skylake-and-kaby-lake-laptops.803630/
But Intel noticed that people did this. So now all new hd drivers are win 10 only... go figure... The last win 7 hd drv was released may 26. v.4678 and that we have modded.Last edited: Oct 17, 2017 -
Will you be doing another bloat free version of win 10 with the creators update 1709?
-
@Phoenix nvm looks like you did it already

New version O&O ShutUp10 V1.5.1391 for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (1709 – Redstone 3).

may i know what settings you use in this new version? thanks! mine, usually all green except the windows Automatic windows updates 1&2 and windows updates for other products i leave them at red. is this okay?
-
like wise, for some reason my windows store is not opening up. not sure which settings it was
-
I have not had any issues finding all of the drivers for everything for W7 and Kaby Lake. Nothing is "Kaby Lake" per se except chipset and IME, and you can get those from the Station-Drivers web site for W7.hmscott likes this.

Hopefully you will also add your recommendation for the new settings with the redstone 3 changes. Like what you did with the redstone 2 clean install video..
Thanks in advance..

There are very minor changes, nothing worth a new video bro
I am waiting for Windows 10 Flinstones 4 for the next video
-
ahh ok.. Im going to try to install redstone 3 this month and if it will cause me problems I'll just go back to redstone 2 using macrium..hmscott likes this.

THIS!!
It seems M$ main goal is fully destroying their latest OS (intended for desktops and powa) with every new Build they throw out.
Last edited: Oct 18, 2017Rei Fukai likes this. -
You got it right sir ! first it was with the automatic updates, then it was with the telemetry and now this ?!! it seems that M$ doesn't care about what we want, and tries to get information about us as muchas possible (getting the google creeps from M$) If people realised how much more flexible Linux is, windows would already be dead. But here we are, with almost 90% or so of the world using windows..
there are 3 companies that i really don't like just because of the fact that they can rake all our money in, but can't listen to what we want as consumers.
-
Yeah, Micro$haft must follow the trend. Today and tomorrow’s weak/less powerful new modern JokeBook’s hardware, need a crippled OS for working properly. You see... Both are intended for each other. All know smartphones hardware will struggle with a normal desktop OS. +rep

Last year I played Gears of War 4 through Windows 10 Store on an external HDD is where I had it installed. Well, I reformatted my OS many times since then on the SSD (not the HDD), but it will not let me delete those MS Store / UDP protected game files... so basically I am wasting a lot of storage space on my HDD for nothing. I even installed Ubuntu Linus on flash drive, and deleted the folder that way, but when I log into windows its still there it just says "expunged" but takes up the same amount of storage...
Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this aside from a full wipe of my HDD... its 5TB.... hence why I never wipe it...
Sidenote: I have never before or since used a Windows Store game, and I never will again as long as I live. I like how M$ can make sure my gears of war 4 files are impenetrable (bitdefender fileshredder won't work, and it won' let me grant access to it as well since its from a diff admin/OS), but they can't help Equifax keep my SSN and DoB safe.hmscott likes this. -

Try taking ownership of the files, then check to do this for all folders/subfolders. Set the owner to the EVERYONE Group
Then close that security tab
then again, right click on the main folder in question, properties, security, click add, then add the everyone group there as well and give it full control
now try to delete ithmscott likes this. -
tried everything possible I think, tried that, as soon as it comes to that file it pops up with same message " failed to enumerate, you need permission from the Adminastrator to do that" i have no idea what inheritance is, but that was under security tab, so i checked that, tried again, same error, everything is checked as Full Control under my current ADMIN name... gah... windows games... and the haunting nightmares from my childhood of games for windows live errors...

Oh man, I thought Unlocked was working, it was like bloopy bloopy deleting deleting deleting, then I get apop up saying unable to delete file do you want us to delete at next reboot.
Like I said, M$ has impenetrable security on gears of war 4, if only they had targeted Equifax instead.... lul
also unlocker said the file was not locked, but it could help me delete it if i want, so yeah. i have no idea mangoeshmscott and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

ask @Mr. Fox maybe he has had that game before.
And for the love of God, never buy any game from the Windows Garbage Store in the future.....
I guess it's time to backup that 5TB HDD and format it buddy......
-
gears of war 4 came free with something i had bought, forgot what it was, and I actually really enjoyed playing it at 1440p high refresh at the time, was a fun campaign. and yeah i will never use windows store ever again, in fact i use cc cleaner to uninstall it along with all xbox garbage on your bloatwarefree editions (after enable shutupten everything)
I am going to lulz if after I post into BIOS to format it someday straight from a clean install of a new OS, and it pops up with some never before seen error, hi there M$ here, your unable to format this drive... rofl... omg i hope i am not a prophet.Spartan@HIDevolution and hmscott like this. -

Do you know how long it took me today to find Win 10 enterprise to download? Your version has all except that volume license bugger! Well, if anyone needs the link, let me know! I now have both the version with all under the sun except proWS, ent, and a couple other non-applicable, and one with just ent, edu, and pro. Now for modding the iso (since I converted the esd).

When you say to remove registry enteries with SecHealth in the registry your talking enteries with words that have SecHealth in it? Sorry for the newbie question
-
Spartan@HIDevolution Company Representative
yes just launch regedit, search for SecHealth, when it finds an entry, delete it, then press F3 to search again,,,,,and again.........until it finds no more entriesLynx2017, ajc9988, Papusan and 1 other person like this. -
You know, this time my search for those SecHealth entries only turned up one. The last bloatware free version I tried had tons
-
You need to do "Find Next" not just Find.
RS3 has the same amount of SecHealth entries. -
I know. I even did the search a couple of times. Don't ask me why they weren't there - I'm not complaining tho
-
that is indeed odd, they were there for me. i think like 4 or 5 of them. lol oh well
-
@Phoenix hey buddy oh pal... are you positive you do not have RS2 5.9 iso anywhere? I just read this article... and Hilbert... whom I trust... seems to be giving the wink wink... that yeah well ummm I can't have an OS with TruePlay because I do use CheatEngine from time to time... it is fun to me to get infinite gold in a single player game, etc... boy oh boy I can't stand all this secrecy and shadow games... I almost wonder if I should just make my own OS, since i have no intention of ever ever ever playing a DX12 game, yeah... I think it is time once and for all to just do my win 7 install even if it is a touch slower... blimey. oh gods im losing my mind with these reinstalls.
http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/microsoft-adds-trueplay-option-to-catch-cheaters-on-windows-10.html -
From the short article:
"I don't mind cheaters getting a sanction, but you just need to wonder though, what kind else does Microsoft collect, and for what purposes they could use it. E.g. what else is Microsoft watching and logging?"
What is ok to do today, may be the evil to be reckened with tomorrow, will all be on some list of sanctions at some point?
What turn of events will turn against those that thought they were safe, and what innocently collected data will implicate them?
First they came for the game cheaters, then they came for the coin miners, then they came for the gaming during work offenders, and still I ran Windows 10...
Why oh why did I think I was safe to run Windows 10?? Woe is me...Last edited: Oct 20, 2017 -

You can turn that off can't you?

Mr. Tim's reply:
Why don't you create the Bloatware Free ISO yourself bro like this Or worst case scenario, if you really want it, I can make it again for you since you are my friend:
Windows and Office ISO Download Tool
MSMG ToolKit
Instructions on the correct order on how to do this:
1) Load the source then enter * instead of typing 1 or 2 to select Home or Pro. By entering *, this will load both editions so you can do the removal/integration on both editions at the same time. Then answer YES twice for the questions asked.
2) Integrate the Language pack you want if required [Optional]
3) Integrate all the features you want to add except for DirectX 9.0c and .NET Framework 3.5 using the Integrate Feature Menu.
4) Remove the Windows Apps that you don't want
5) Remove the Components that you don't want followed by Advanced Components
6) Integrate Windows Updates
7) Apply Changes and save to source image, this will perform the Cleanup
8) Re-Mount the Source
9) Add the .NET Framework 3.5 using the Integrate Feature Menu.
10) Integrate Windows Updates
11) Integrate Windows Custom Feature Packs [Optional]
12) Apply Changes and save source
13) Rebuild Source
14) Create the ISOVistar Shook, Lynx2017, Papusan and 2 others like this. -
No no, I kind of want to try making it myself in that case (I get bored lol). I appreciate the offer though, and really have come to enjoy all of you in this little niche community haha. Cheers.

@Lynx2017 Hi, dont know if I can help you but I have the v5.9 in my usb and I dont know to convert to ISO.. if you can guide me on how to do it. I might be able to help you..

Copy those folders to your hard disk with a folder named as W10. Use Ntlite to point to your source directory you just created and Click Apply Changes after loading the image. Choose options Export ISO and you're done.
