FYI Ultra Male, 20H1 is really version 2003, not 1909 [the "real" 1909 release is 19H2]
so wrong, wrong, WRONG with the mis-information

When new OS is released during December when every one is on vacation, W10 will brick every devices so its better to release 20H1/2 now and add bug fixes until Nov and Enjoy their vacations.pathfindercod and joluke like this.

Release 20H1/2 now and add bug fixes and it will work within Nov? You kidding, bruh? 1903 is +6 months old and the bugs only increase

Maybe 20H1 is Performance enhancement release version. Then again, I'm still on v1809.Spartan@HIDevolution and pathfindercod like this.

Yeah, such as...
A brand new Cortana experience is present that features a new conversational UI, light and dark mode, and more.
Convertible laptops now have an improved touch experience when in desktop mode that makes buttons larger on the taskbar and in File Explorer.
Mouse cursor speed settings are now available within the modern Settings app.
The languages area in Settings has been redesigned to easier see the current state of language settings at a glance.
Notepad is now a Microsoft Store app that is updated independantly from the OS.
Microsoft has updated the Microsoft Account sync engine.
A new profile picture sync system is present that now updates your profile picture across devices and Microsoft services more quickly.
I can't see a single reason 20H1 will be the Performance enhancement version you dream about. Everything will be as the old and with same/or new bugs.

Still not 1909 as in the thread name

Is the "H" in (20H1) synonymous with HELL because recently that's what Microsoft has been giving us with their recent updates?
Oh and why is it that we can RAG and Bash (well deserved because they've earned it) on Microsoft and Windows but the hypocrites running this website don't allow the same for CrApple and the Fruit Loop company? Maybe they're trying to avoid attorney calls like Louis Rossman.

^^^ or...
Windows 10 19H2 will include optimizations to how personal information is processed by the CPU in order to increase the performance and capacity of the telemetry about it's users.
With Intel Turbo Boost Max Telemetry 3.0, an operating system will use information stored in the CPU to identify who uses the pc and then push more of the telemetry to the MS servers.
While Windows 10 has already supported Turbo Boost Max Telemetry 3.0 and Turbo Boost Telemetry 2.0, in a recent Windows Insider blog post Microsoft has stated that Windows 10 19H2 will include optimizations to increase how personal information is disseminated to favored third parties.hmscott, Papusan and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

Have read about this before. Its to save the weaker cores on BGA junk from running too hot/throttling with reduced lifespan/reliability as end results. Don’t jump on Micro$lopes disgusting ads for coming OS Versions. They need something to try drag people over from older Win 10 versions + scam people over from Win 7.
Remember Dx12? Only for the latest and greatest.
High adoption rate for next tragedy is their target.
In short... In real life they would be dragged to court for fraud/scam.
Can you feel the performance increased with their previous great idea on paper “Ultimate Power Plan” ?Last edited: Sep 24, 2019seanwee, Ashtrix, 6730b and 1 other person like this. -

Critical bug discovered in Windows 10 1909. I installed it on a friend's laptop and he has Optimus, well now, even if he sets the nVIDIA GPU to be used globally, all games are using the Intel integrated GPU so what he has to do is set each game manually to use the nVIDIA GPU. don't know if it's a Windows bug or nVIDIA bug.

Does InSpectre tool work with 1909? And does all tweaks from older versions works?
-
Spartan@HIDevolution Company Representative
InSpectre never worked for me on any build. All the tweaks work. -
Thats good. But not sure what you doing with your OS as you cant make it to work. Have worked from the day it was created on all my setups. Even old machines
Maybe test it if you haven't tried on 1909.

I am done with Windows, I'm sick of it to death. One small mistake and boom, 48 hours of formatting and reinstalling everything. Updates that cause issues, Windows builds need all new drivers, enough is enough. check my sig. I will order this McDonald's book soon from HIDevolution with Thermal Grizzly Coconut -
Why on earth spend money on the 8‑core i9 processor? Thermal Grizzly Coconut won't save it from thermal throttling. Will be the same mess as this one.Fire Tiger and Ashtrix like this.

trust me, anything is better. I have wasted endless hours formatting. clean installing, tweaking, I'm sick of this.
With Windows 7, Windows updates were just updates, with Windows updates, every few months we have a new build, it's like a whole new OS needing some new tweaks, older drivers aren't compatible, etc. With Apple you never have these jokes, just turn on the taptop and use it
I also realized that I never play games anymore, I have no time. I didn't even try one game on this Alienware Area-51mFire Tiger, saturnotaku, Vasudev and 1 other person like this. -

Sure. Some laptops... Maybe for their own sick mother? See... They throw out own notebooks Surfacebooks with awful performance. What is better throttle down performance further to save battery?
Edit. Of course Micro$lope had to create useless functionality in their DesktopOS. But in short they did it for own hardware... More disgusting on it's way

I bet it is useless in real life i.e. 3 mins of extra battery life isn't worth wasting out countless hours for Clean installing Win 10 and apps.
With Speedshift I've managed to shatter most battery life tests with same v1809 OS. Then again, v1903 had best idle battery drain of 1% every 6hrs whilst on sleep. But, v1903 was far from stable whilst comparing v1809.6730b, Fire Tiger and Papusan like this. -

- Currently, Microsoft is not aware of any known issues. Let's hope it stays that way

- Fixes a problem in security bulletin CVE-2019-1318 that may cause client or server computers that do not support Extended Master Secret (EMS) RFC 7627 to have increased connection latency and CPU usage. This issue occurs if you perform a full Transport Layer Security (TLS) handshaking of devices that do not support EMS, especially on servers. - Fixes a problem with applications and printer drivers that use the Windows JavaScript engine (jscript.dll) to process print jobs.
- Security updates for Windows Shell, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Cryptography, Windows Authentication, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Kernel, Microsoft Scripting Engine, and Windows Server.

Nice. With flawed update which is as expected and can’t be delivered in December we will see 3 main updates within the coming year

20H1 has been in BETA for ages and as it approached RTM, they figured it's a big pile of a mess so they need more BETAs
-
Its in alpha stage and now most of them installed BETA edition so shifting the release date is good plan to deliver properly tested OS.
-
You’re kidding? You think this will help?
-
I doubt it but it'll save millions of PCs.
-
I'm assuming the 1909 final ISO has disappeared, cant find it in any links in this thread...
-

It has been postponed until December as Micro$h4ft needs 30 BETAs before they can do a small build upgrade

I've remade the 1909 with my tweaks and so far I'm not enticed to install this on my production machines. On a VM it is working w/o any issues with build update 447 integrated.
There are few pending tests to run and once everything is done I'll upload it in ESD format. For starters, its 3.52GB with Home and Pro editions. -
I changed my connection for a minute and entire file upload went kaput. Looks like it will be delayed by few days since I split it into parts.
I'll share it once its uploaded!raptorddd and Fire Tiger like this. -
Gota love this mess... It seems Intel and Microsoft hate each other. Because this is not the first time. And neither the last!

Is this your version? Or just a standard windows 10 installer? If your version/bloatware free, I'll try installing and see how it goes. If problem occurs will roll back to 1809. ^_^
Edit:
Nvm, the download link source is from MS. hahaha.. -
