Maybe M$ want money for their code? But it's still nice to don't have to see WinCrap X in the CB window
And Mocrosoft won't let them have it... Worse score with Win 10

There must be something that makes the W10 enterprise version different compared to the normal consumer variations.Vasudev likes this. -

Phoenix: I think it has do with WDDM model disallowing installing on older archive Win 10.

Redstone 1, Redstone 2 = Fast
Redstone 3, Redstone 4 = Horrible! The windows loading icon starts spinning, then pauses for 10-15 seconds, then continues to spin.
I've done 10s of formats, it's always the same, once you install 2 or 3 drivers (like until the point you reach the Audio Driver) the slowdown starts getting worse, then you install all your apps and it becomes slower than an HDD booting Windows 8 even if you are using an NVMe SSD and even if you are using RAID 0
So I expect Redstone 5 will be....turn on the computer....go make a coffee while the telemetry and bloatware are loading, then come back to see the desktop and enjoy your coffee
PS: This happens even if you strip the OS with MSMG Toolkit and slimt it down and remove all the bloat. It's just one flawed OS which you can't fix.

can window 10 be installed with legacy settings? and can it take advantage of the fast boot from TH1/2 builds?

2) You cannot enable Fast Boot on machines that have an HK or K processor (or any overclockable processor). The moment you enable Fast Boot in BIOS then save and exit, it will revert back to disabled.
Reason being, the motherboard has to check and re-initialize the overclocking settings upon every boot up it can't just start booting like you see in low end computers where you press the power button and you almost instantly see the Windows loading icon spinning.
this info is directly from MSI Level 2 Technical support when I created a ticket asking them why the heck is my fast boot not sticking to ENABLED?
If I disable the overclocking feature in the BIOS, then I can enable fast boot but what's the use of owning an overclockable machine then?
Windows Fast Boot is a different thing though, that basically is a hybrid shutdown/hibernation is not what really defines the concept of fast booting. The Windows Fast Boot takes much longer to shutdown since it needs to save the current state, drivers, etc. of the OS in the hiberfile.sys before it shutdown and often times that fails so when you turn on your computer, you might be welcomed with a black screen until you do a forced shutdown to enable the standard/full boot of Windows -

anyway, after configuring my OS for an hour, created a Macrium Reflect base image, then started installing the drivers, it all stopped at driver 2, nVIDIA Driver says I am installing it on an un-supported OS, it was detecting TH1 as some unknown/foreign OS and I imagine the same would hold true for other drivers like WLAN, Card Reader, Bluetooth, Touchpad, Audio, etc.
Just bite the boot time and deal with it is your only option -

Windows 10 Threshold 2 Download
those are the links for the English US ISO for Home + Pro
I suggest you test TH2 as that ISO is the 3rd ISO released for TH2 so it incorporates a lot of the updates which means you can simply disable Windows Update and not have to worry about the little patches released after the initial release of that build. If you enable Windows updates, it will download the latest build for you immediately so make sure you don't connect to a wireless network during the initial setup wizard (click skip when you are shown the available networks to connect to), configure Windows to your liking, run O&O ShutUp10 to disable telemetry and all the other privacy invasion things, and also make sure you disable Windows Update both from O&O ShutUp10 and also disable the service from services.msc
Let me know how it goes and what happens when you try to install the latest nVIDIA Driver -
