@Phoenix really wish you did not delete the first post of your thread you closed with the software updates, I always used that as reference guide, I never even used to download stuff, I just would google what I wanted to download... but your list always reminded me of stuff I would forget.Mari1225 and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

I'm sure Phoenix will provide both. Maybe only Pro though if it ends up being only one. Pretty sure he runs Pro.Mari1225 likes this. -

In hope some of they work
More Windows patches — and warnings about the Win10 1709 update KB 4089848-Computerworld.com
On Thursday Microsoft released new cumulative updates for all Win10 versions, a couple of Servicing Stack updates, two previews of monthly rollups, a refreshed Windows Update cracker — and absolutely nothing that fixes the flaws in this month’s botched Win7 patch.
“Hey, Cortana.” (Pause.) “Is my PC working yet?”
It’s getting to the point that patches come flying out of Microsoft on any odd day. On most odd days, for that matter. Yesterday, Thursday, was no exception. On March 22 we saw all of these new patches:
I just wish Microsoft would speak plainly. In this case, some Win10 users (not sure which ones) are getting a patch that (apparently?) breaks their wuauserv Windows Update server settings. I assume that its entire reason for existence is to push more people onto the next version of Win10.
When did Microsoft become the enemy?

There's still no escaping the MS madness yet.
You know, to be honest, when I first stumbled across this site I thought all the complaining about Win 10 was kind of like a bunch of grumpy old men yelling at the MS kids to stay the hell off their lawns. I didn't exactly have the hate for Win 10. Didn't bother me what it looked like. Phoenix had a nice simple routine to kill the unwanted crap. Man has that changed. Back then I was young and naive, running a "pre-update" version of 10. Once the first update hit me (anniversary update IIRC) s--t went downhill fast. Unfortunately - looking at the settings Phoenix linked - it looks like it just keeps gaining speedSpartan@HIDevolution and Lynx2017 like this. -
Yeah, when I went to install Ubuntu Budgie, I mounted it with Rufus with proper settings... I figured it would be simple, install... and about 60% in it says root drive sdb or some crap not found... I said screw it. I just don't even care anymore what M$ knows about me anymore -

Windows 10 build 17133 is now going through internal testing. The new Windows 10 build 17133 (10.0.17133.1) was compiled on March 23, 2018. There are reports that this build will roll out to insiders as the final Windows 10 Spring Creators Update.

KB4089848 (OS Build 16299.334)
KB4088776 (OS Build 16299.309)
KB4090912 (OS Build 15254.313)
KB4090913 (OS Build 16299.251)
Start from bottom (OS Build 16299.251) and see if it will install. Click each build and you find the Microsoft Update Catalog standalone package in the bottom of the page. Read info for each builds.
Or try Windows Update troubleshooter, KB 10164
Edit. But I think we stop here. We shouldn' hijack Phoenix beloved Windows 10 Redstone 4 thread. He can or will be angry, you knowLast edited: Mar 26, 2018 -
I tried troubleshooter too... I am really perplexed here... This is a brand new install too. I had some updates work fine yesterday. -
