I think that anything after 7229 will be 'fake'. 7229 is supposed to be the last test release distro'd outside of msft.
It's understandable that earlier releases, all available through msdn, have been 'leaked'.

i have the 7231.0.x86fre.winmain.090608-1900 installed
when i try to upgrade to
7260.0.x86fre.win7_rtm.090612-2110
it keeps saying that i have a newer version......
is it? or i do have to modify the cversion again?
the cversion says:
minclient: 7077.0
minserver: 7000.0 -
No, you have to do a clean install for build 7260.

I have build 7201 installed, if I always update Windows, would it be just as good as the latest build? or do windows updates not include the fixes that are available in newer builds?
