YouTube/Hulu and the like are all Flash based. Flash is all handled by the CPU. Seeing spikes in usage while using these is normal.

Hopefully Adobe will release their GPU-accelerated Flash Player in the near future.

Prolonged spikes in CPU to above 70% and, to the point where it freezes other computer functions is NOT normal.

Ive had this problem before; the computer is likely overheating and when it does, the graphics crad cannot handle simple graphical based functions, spinking the cpu and freezing up the whole system.

The thermal functionality/ability for the latitude to handle multiple monitors, BLOWS.

If I didnt have to dock this thing, id probably love the Latitude. However, being that I must use it docked and, with two external monitors, its horrible.

That's the thing; Flash is NOT GPU based. Playing YouTube or anyother Flash based media WILL result in high CPU usage.

You must have some driver issues or you just doing something wrong without realizing it. My Latitude E4300 experiences NONE of the problems you're having.

Make sure you have a SECURE connection with the dock. Also, be sure all drivers are updated appropriately, as well as your OS.
