    as it turns out the laptop has a dead mobo and would cost $800 to fix... moot point now anyway :(

    On ebay the board does not seem to cost that muc, where did you get that price from?

    Hi, done some research in the past few days and found some useful info.User 'nando4' has done quite a lot of upgrading on his Hp 2510p which uses the same type 1.8-inch hdd.Follow the links bellow:
