Quick question. Got an old Dell Precision M90 and was thinking about maxing it out with new Drive/Ram.

    1. Can I throw in 2 x 4GB sticks for 8GB ram?
    2. What's the max size drive I can use? Is it regular Sata?

945PM will accept 4 GB but BIOS should only recognize like 3.25-3.5 GB.

Any 2.5" 9mm SATA drive will work. Largest size is 750 GB right now. Samsung has a 1 TB 5400 rpm drive that is 9mm coming soon.

Thanks for the info. Just bought one for $200 with a -$50 direct discount and another 20% off @ dell finance.

Seems like a decent workstation laptop for dirt cheap.
